I like the amount of extra storage that it provides, but I do not like the fact that I can't play games from it without experiencing interruptions. For some reason, the hard drive quits working and stops the game completely. That wouldn't be such a problem if it wouldn't interrupt the process of transferring games back and forth from the internal and external storage.

Bought as gift for my Grandson to use for his gaming console(s) storage. His only complaint is how hot it gets. It's a heater, for sure! He says it has good speed and was plug and play. Really heavy unit for 2TB compared to my PC drives but guess it's faster...? Not an expert. Couple months of daily use and it's still working so seems pretty dependable.

I needed an external drive for my Series S. Avolusion HDDGear Pro X 4TB USB 3.0 External Gaming Hard Drive (for Xbox Series X|S), filled the need. Very easy to set up and preformatted for the Xbox Family. Literally just plug and play. You now have 4TB of storage for your needs. It works very fast, transfer speeds are great. I can play and One X, 360 , and some S/X game from it with no issue. Now you will NOT be about to play S/X enhanced games from the drive. Those can only be played on the internal drive. No biggie, just transfer it over. They give a very nice warranty with it as well. Well worth the purchase.

I'm trying my best to find anything that'll help me figure out why none of my gaming consoles will detect this thing. The power cord sent with it didn't work, I tried different USB cords, tried every USB port I had and nothing made it show up. Hooked it up to my pc and scanned it, tried to format and format for xbox and still nothing. So I have a brick. Waste of time and money. Oh, and I can't find any customer service or website.
