I put it together and it works, so there is that. It gets 3 stars for actually being functional. The adjustment process is very finicky, and I needed a third hand to hold it stable while I set the parts in position and tightened the brackets. with some work, I was able to adjust the stand to be in a useful position for flying in front of my TV with the Xbox. The adjustment brackets are cheap, and the bolts that hold them together are bent in order to be tight enough to hold the joints in place. They look tacked on, not planned out.The front of the stand is the same width as every chair I have, so I set the stand to be short as possible on the floor to get the chair a useful distance, and it's still a little too far away IMO. The stand should have a triangular configuration, so a chair can scoot up to it.The assembled unit is not rigid at all - it's a heavy control system on the end of a swaying a 3ft arm, so keep your control movements small to avoid chasing the console around on the end of a swaying stick. My primary gripe is the toothed wheel bracket that holds the yoke assembly is very flexible, so despite cranking the hand wheel down with a giant wrench, it's prone to tipping when I have the yoke at full extensions. Also, because of this, if I have to move the stand it just collapses. I've got it set up now and will spend some time with it, but I have a feeling I'm going to end up replacing that bracket with something else, or a big wad of epoxy.

The product seems great, but the assembly instructions that came with this stand didn't clearly show how to hook my Turtle Beach VelocityOne Universal Control System, which seems strange, since both products are from the same company. You'd think there should be a mounting template showing which holes should be used for the screws.

Great value easy storage mount for your flight sim or wheel if space is a premium. Not as sturdy as some of the bigger rigs out there but brilliant if space is top of your priority. Had mine a few months and it's performed brilliantly and shows no signs of wear.Excellent product.

Although this is fairly heavy material and likely will stand the test of time, the cost of what was received leaves much to be desired. The friction tube locking bolt mechanisms were both bent and there was no hardware to attach the rudder pedals and yoke system to the mounts. Luckily for my situation, I can easily source hardware needed since I don’t have the patience to return this product and wait for another to arrive likely in the same condition.

I have 3 devices from the VelocityOne Family: VelocityOne flight stick, VelocityOne Flight Yoke and VelocityOne Racing wheel, and since this stand is VelocityOne branded, I expected it's suitable for both Yoke & Wheel devices, and also clearly listed as "Universal".First issue I encountered upon installation. For some weird reason, there's no holes on the top plate to screw-mount the wheel base, so I had to attach it to the plate using the "squeeze mount" which is normally used for attaching to a table or a desk. I suppose the designers only planned screw holes on that plate for more solid fixing only for the Flight Yoke, but not for the Racing wheel. There's no mention of that in their product information or official website. The wheel was not as easy to attach, but I managed it somehow. After few months of usage, I had to relocate to another apartment. During transport the top plate of the stand broke off. It was handled with care, but as you can see in the photo, there are only 2 welding points holding the plate. Of course If I had dismounted the wheel from the stand before transport I would've prevented that issue, but I think it was matter of time, when you move the wheel and stand around it's about to brake at some point due to poor design. The race wheel is heavy, the stand is very heavy too, and to have such flimsy welding connection is absurd. Not to mention that I also pre-ordered the H-Shifter for the wheel which comes next year, and there's no place to attach the H-shifter to the wheel stand. So I contacted TurtleBeach support to ask them about potential warranty claim, but more importantly to advice me what kind of stand I should buy for the VelocityOne Race wheel, since their officially branded stand albeit listed as "Universal" is only suitable in practice with the Flight Yoke and nothing else.

Overall this is a very nicely made, sturdy stand. Plenty of options to adjust your setup to your exact liking. Nice and heavy, doesn't budge, even on our high pile carpet. My only complaint would be the lack of mounting hardware. My racing wheel didn't come with any, so I was hoping the stand would. Wrong there too. So great product, would definitely recommend over cheaper lighter weight options available. But be sure to order your own mounting hardware!

The build quality on this TB Universal stand is very good and it’s mostly assembled out of the box. A few tweaks and it’s ready to go, knobs and levers all feel great with no build issues. I have the Velocity One Flight hardware mounted perfectly and note that the screws to mount it are included with the V1F itself, not with the stand. Additionally, I have the Logitech Pro (Saitek) rudder pedals installed on it and it fits really well. Use M6 screws for attaching the rudder pedals, I purchased a set of screws separately and there are holes on the stand bracket that can accommodate 4 screws into the Logitech pedals. It’s attached really nicely and everything feels firm and stable. Excellent stand, I think the regular full price is a bit high in my opinion but it works great and nice to see compatibility with the Logitech rudder pedals.
