These work perfectly for sending my 18x24in posters. I do have to roll them pretty tight to get them to fit, but they DO fit, and this more compact size has helped reduce what I have to spend on mailing them out. (I was using the 3 in diameter tubes and they cost a small fortune to mail!) Product comes in two packages, so don't worry when the caps aren't with the tubes - they show up in their own separate envelope!
