The felt tip last a lot longer than Sharpy. Ink flow is better than Sharpy. Doesn’t fade as fast as Sharpy in outdoor conditions. Although like a regular Sharpy it does not write on wet surfaces.

Soooo I was skeptical at first because multiple markers make these same claims and they fizzle after a few uses. I kid you not I wrote in heavy dust covered concrete, wood, walls, metal, rough surfaces concrete, and etc and I mean it goes strong. Not only is the marker still lasting, but the color is still there. You’ll get bold lines and markings still not like half faded or missing parts from where it’s rubbed against the concrete. I bought a pack of 4 and I’ve used em maybe 2 months now and I’m still using the first marker. I wish they sold them in larger quantities I might even reach out to the supplier directly because I’m probably going to try and get them to pass out some to at my job sites. These markers beyond amazing better than anything you’d get at Home Depot or Lowe’s

I’ve used it on dry, dirty, dusty, wet, and frost covered lumber. Works extremely well… sorry, I have not tried oily lumber as of yet…

Love this as it writes on grease without issues.

The marker writes on most surfaces but I notice that the ink won’t dry. I find it smudges especially when used to mark on packaging tape or on certain cardboard boxes. The ink smears and smudges when it has had time to dry. It makes a mess.Other than that the markers are good.

I got these to write on thermal labels when it's raining. Other permanent markers totally stop working in moderate rain, and even if they only get one drop of water on them they won't write again for a long time. This marker doesn't work very well/at all in rain either but it fully recovers very quickly. The writing also takes a couple minutes to dry even when it's not raining. I wrote on an item then picked it up a moment later and held it between my arm and my shirt so I could still use my hands. The ink smeared so bad I almost couldn't read it anymore. Fortunately I was wearing a black shirt otherwise I'd be furious, it obviously got on my shirt. I was wearing an expensive raincoat and I forgot to check if any ink got on there so I'm actually not totally sure nothing was damaged. It didn't occur to me that I couldn't treat it like a normal Sharpie marker. If anything touches it for a minute or so it smears like wet paint. I can't wait that long for each item. The ink stays put really well once it dries. The line is really nice and bold black, much bolder than a standard Sharpie. But it doesn't really work for what I wanted. There's also no lanyard hole.

Sharpies are king for permanent markers. However the moment they get wet, or touch something like geese, they become useless. These markers on the other hand don't care and will keep working! They have been amazing! They wrote on most everything and are actually usable when the container or surface is less than ideal. The only downside is they do have a tendency to wipe away if you don't let it fully dry. Sometimes that's not possible, sl as long as you don't touch it while wet it'll eventually stay.Overall they work well and definitely are more usable when something isn't perfectly clean!
