This works great on all other dogs, not on mine ( English Bulldog). Keeps other dogs away.

Best thing I have purchased for my 8 month old Jack Russell that barked at every noise! I only really had to play the sound part - not even the ultrasonic sound - for one day and used the word hush to quiet him. Now I just have to pull it out and say hush and he stops barking. So happy I purchased this!!

My German shepherd tilted his head the first time I used it, but he ignored it after that. It seems to be totally useless.

I have four Chihuahua mixes in my house. Needless to say every leaf, bird, wind breeze or person walking anywhere near my house causes the pot to bark incessantly. This definitely gets their attention and stops the barking for most of them don’t hesitate on this one. It is perfect.

It's working! Makes my dogs quit barking as soon as I press the button and they seem to be more hesitant now to start barking when they spot a trigger.

I have two pitbulls from shelters and they never being trained or walked before... one hates all other people and dogs and another loves people but ready to attack any other creatures. I tried a lot of different devices including shock collars, water spray etc, antianxiety suppelements, collars nothing work. So I decided to try that ultrasonic training device and I am so happy! the older dog just need a sound and he will stop and pay attention, the younger one is much stronger and has some mental issues ( ones she pulled me so hard its hurst my sholder for months) but with this device I use ultrasound and light at nigh and I will be honest at the beginning I used two or three time that button before she realize whats going on, and right now I push this button once and tell her to command Leave it and she listens!! I don't have to pull her so her collar does not hurt her neck, I don't have so yell! So far i am very happy, i can walk and not to avoid any creatures on our way anymore! My advice just need to be consistent to use this device till they know just commend.

My Chihuahua just shook her head and kept barking. We tried it several times . Our daughter- in-law uses it successfully with her 4 dogs. Go figure I have a tough little pooch

I had gotten one of these "electronic dog whistles" some years ago to use with my dog, but we didn't use it consistently, and I seem to have misplaced it sometime within the past few months.I ended up getting a last-minute foster dog just after misplacing the other corrector, so I got this one to see if it would work with this new dog (my dog is now 13, so his hearing has been going for a while now).At first this one felt too confusing, or unnecessarily complicated. My old one just had one button to press, and a switch that put it on either light-flash plus ultrasonic noise or just one or the other (if I remember correctly). But just one button. This thing has a lot more options and buttons, so it's going to take some getting used to.So compared to my old one, this one is definitely more complicated. But I think that's actually a good thing. One button is for an audible "beep" that us humans can hear, as well as the dogs, and the How To booklet that comes with it explains that this function should be used first (similar to the "beep" function on a shock collar; it's a warning, a smaller step before things get uncomfortable). Then the switch on the side gives you the option of the fixed-frequency or variable-frequency modes, the latter of which can be useful for dogs who might not be able to hear the fixed-frequency, and/or to change things up so that they don't get used to just the fixed-frequency.I haven't had enough time to thoroughly work with her using this yet, but she definitely responds to the frequencies of the "only dogs can hear it" button.I like that it comes with the wrist strap, although it would be handy if the strap had something on it to be able to tighten it around your wrist for added security. So far the one thing I don't love about it is the placement of the buttons. I like that the "Ultrasonic + Flashlight mode" button is set apart from the rest, but it would be nice if all of the buttons had some distance between them. When I'm trying to push the right button in the immediate moment it's needed, I don't want to have to keep looking down and fumbling with the thing to find the button I need. This is especially true if I'm using this while we're out on a walk and/or if it's dark outside and I'm going by sense of touch.Being able to instinctively press the button I need in the moment is essential, and with the placement of these buttons, it's really kind of a pain in the neck. The flashlight button, for example, would be better if it were on the side of the unit, like where the frequency option is.If I'm trying to push the Sound button, I don't want to accidentally press the Ultrasonic button, but they're basically on top of each other, so that's inevitably going to happen. So the button placement isn't ideal, and I think it would benefit from some design changes. But other than that, so far I like it. I'll probably try to glue something onto the different buttons so that I can feel which one is which.
