I recently tried the Feycig Dog Bark Deterrent Device, and I'm thoroughly impressed! With a safe 23ft range and three emitters, it effectively silences excessive barking without harming my dog. This device generates an electronic ultrasonic noise for communicating with dogs, used as a tool to curb barking and other undesired behaviors. It generates two ranges of ultrasonic sound.It also has an LED for use as a standalone flashlight and as a strobe that works in conjunction with the ultrasound as a behavior deterrent.I’ve tried both ultrasound ranges with our chihuahua and she responds immediately to the sounds. I have used it when she is doing something undesirable (like barking) and she stops right away and pays attention to where the sound came from. Sometimes she retreats and goes to her “safe space.” She doesn't like it but also does not seem too traumatized by it. The noise isn’t pleasant but doesn’t seem to be hurting her either. The device / noise seems potent - I only use it for about a second at a time; it completely distracts the dog and gets her attention. The included literature says it will automatically shut off after 8 seconds as a protection mechanism for the dog.The device comes with a tether strap and a USB_USB-C cord for recharging the unit. It’s small, compact, hand held, and pocket storable. It could be used on outings to protect against unwanted dog attention or an aggressive dog. A useful tool to deter bad behaviors. I'm not a fan of the dog zappers or anything that would physically hurt them. I'm hoping this is a happy medium and won't upset my pup too much.

I think they meant the range is "2 to 3 feet" and not 23 feet to work. I tried it a few times on my neighbors barking dog through a gaps in the fence when he was about 11 ft away and nothing. Not a pause, a head tilt, a face change, nothing. Then I tried it on my little pup when we were on a walk and he was about 5 feet away, again nothing. Both times I tried the beep and both ultrasonic modes. I was about to give it a 2 star review for not working but having a nice charger and being a flashlight. Then yesterday my neighbor's dog and mine were going at it through the fence (they do not like each other), I was standing right next to them and hit the ultrasonic button. They both stopped instantly. This happened two more times over the next 30 mins. So I guess it works... if you are right next to them. I would only recommend this for up close training.

I actually had doubts about this working, but we decided to take a chance—and I’m glad we did! We have three dogs, and while we haven’t been able to test if it stops a dog fight when tensions rise, I can say that it works amazingly well for everything else.Barking, crowding visitors at the door, charging the fence line at neighbors—just point and press the button, and the behavior stops immediately. I also give a voice command while pressing the button so the dogs associate the correction with me rather than the device itself.It charges quickly using the included USB-C 5V cable, and after a week of use, I haven’t needed to recharge it yet. Humans can’t hear the ultrasonic sound, but it definitely gets the dogs' attention. There’s also a feature where you can press a button to emit only a loud beeping sound or combine the beep with the ultrasonic transmission for an extra level of correction.The only thing to be mindful of is that all nearby dogs will hear it, so if you’re correcting one dog, others might also respond and get confused.Overall, this has been a fantastic tool for training and managing unwanted behaviors. Highly recommend!
