I purchased a set of these to put on my Tacoma. They seem to be very well built and very easy to install.I found it was easiest to install the mounting brackets first, then the running boards themself.I would suggest using a blue locktite product on all of the mounting bolts, as there are no lockwashers in the install hardware. I also suggest using a shallow socket instead of a deep socket along with a 6" extension.I have installed nerf bars/running boards on 2 previously owned trucks, and they were no where near as easy to install and adjust as these are.Several of my neighbors have even stated how good they look on the truck. Along with asking where I purchased them.

Bolts came out of track as well as bolts were stuck in the end of the track and could not be retrieved. The bolts that fell out could not be reinstalled. Useless, boards cannot be installed onto the brackets without access to the bolts of course. Instructions give no indications to take care of these issues otherwise we would have taken precaution. Will be contacting the company and likely return running boards.

The item had obviously been returned as the hardware bags had all been opened and hardware dumped in a bowl. Some of nuts from the sliding track under the running boards were in the bowl and some were stuck out of the track in the end of the board. I should have sent them back but decided to work on them to make them work. I had to cut some plastic out of the way so I could get the nuts in the track. very inconvenient and time consuming

Product seems of good quality at a fair price. Installation would have been a breeze except for one minor problem. When you remove the bolts from the running board tracks, the sliding nuts can come off the end of the tracks and they're a pain to get back on. You can avoid this by stuffing a piece of packing foam in the end of each track.

I purchased these running boards for my base model 2011 Toyota Tacoma with extra cab. Mounting them myself was very straight forward and I completed the job in about 1 hour. They are well attached and very secure. The best thing is that now my 99 yr old mother can get into the truck herself, without me having to lift her up and possibly injuring my back. She is very proud that she figured out how do step up with her left foot onto the running board, grab the handle inside the truck with her right hand, then step up with her right foot on the running board. After this, whe lifts her left foot and places it on the floor mat & allows her booty to swing into the seat. Not too bad for someone who had a stroke 11 months ago!

Decent quality. Would have given 4 or 5 stars if came with locking washers. I was afraid that it would eventually vibrate and become loose so I used some blue threadlocker. Seems good aside from that.
