I'm normally not a big fan of automatic trash cans. I got this for the girlfriend. I don't mind opening lids with my hands or feet. I also don't like that it's something else to mess up and have to charge. With that said, this seems to work pretty well so far. It consistently opens when you want it to & it closes correctly so far.Just make sure to regularly charge your trash can. It seems to be a sturdy enough. It looks good enough.This is a solid little trash can. This deserves a good rating.

I ordered three of these. Only one worked. I did return the two, nonfunctional units. Amazon refunded my money.
