As a trained automotive and fine art painter, I would never use an airless sprayer for anything inside the house or in the workshop. You'll get much better results with air-based spray guns, particularly good ones. However, there are times where you don't want to be lugging around an air hose. Fencing is one of those times... I'd rather not set up an outdoor compressor and run a huge hose to the backyard. For some yards that might to be feasible anyhow. This spray solves that problem by using common batteries. As other reviewers noted, this gun is heavy when the paint and the battery pack are in place. Batteries will drain quickly, and it is useful to have several on hand. The handle and trigger are comfortable enough. The main issue can be weight.

This paint sprayer works pretty good, but it is a bit heavy (once you attach the battery and fill the paint) and gets tiresome doing a larger job.

Its been years since I used a paint sprayer. The last one I used was massive and looked like a tiny generator. To have a battery powered one in my DIY bag of tricks is amazing. It works well with Milwaukee batteries and other brands if you have the proper adapters. I have more Makita batteries so I use those with an adapter on this. It works great. There are adjustments for spray pattern and comes with everything you need to get started minus the battery and paint. I'm not a paint expert so understand this is the review of a homeowner DIYer. For my purposes it works great and I'm happy with it.

This paint sprayer is far easier to use than the corded one it replaced. I mixed up Milwaukee and Makita again when ordering this, but a battery adapter worked great so I could use my off-brand Makita-compatible lithium batteries. Together they're much lighter than the old batteries so this is easier to use despite the weight of the paint. The light is more helpful for showing “painter's holidays" compared to shinier fresh paint rather than lighting the area. I'd ruined the sprayer of an automotive HVLP paint gun with water years ago, so I'd only use cleaning solution specific to the paint sprayed. If the tiniest drop off paint dries in the nozzle, it messes up the spray pattern on future projects. It's still easier to clean and reuse than the sprayers with a hose going into a separate container of paint. I've personally never had much luck keeping those unclogged for more than a few uses, so I'd say this smaller set is a better value.

I've never used a cordless paint sprayer before, and now I don't ever wanna go back! It does need an 18v battery, so be prepared to get one of those before using it. The paint came out nice and evenly, and it was easy to use. This is a must-have tool for anyone that paints large pieces of furniture for a living or as a hobby.

This little gun is a great "one off", or infrequently used item. For the price, it simply cannot be beat. However - if you are a professional, you already know that this price point isn't going to get you much. Overall the product is cheap, and poorly built. But it does work, and works pretty well given the quality of the build. It includes 3 nozzles, and they looked different than my Wagner tips - not sure if you can easily replace them or not. Also, it has a top filling hatch, which I actually like a lot. But it has a really poor design on the latch, so make sure it actually closed. You do not want to let this gun build up with excess paint residue - it will make it impossible to adjust or use. The design is not the best for cleaning. A ton of pockets, cracks and gaps that pack off with paint. Storage and cleaning is a little unique - this gun comes apart at the trigger portion - allowing two major halves of the gun to be stored easily. The paint pot can be tossed into a sink and washed out - which I appreciate.Even though the light is a very cool feature - it was not well thought out. Maybe if you are using this outside, or in a well ventilated area, it wouldn't be an issue. If you are painting the inside of a closet, bring a wet rag to clean it up right away.Overall, this gun is not a great find. But the price is cheap enough to purchase for a job, and use it once or twice.
