There are different milks you can make with this stainless steel appliance (almond milk, soymilk, oatmilk), as well as make other types of foods. The manual gives recipes for not only the nut milks, but also for a smooth soup (Potato Leek Soup), chunky soup (Chunky Vegetable Soup), and a smoothie (Avocado Smoothie). My main intent is to make almond milk with this appliance; however, I will be delving into the other food categories as well.I used the "Raw Almonds Method" for making my almond milk. There are different ways/options of making this milk that is outlined in the manual. I first pre-soaked the "raw" almonds overnight in water; this way, I was able to rinse them several times, as well as peel the skins off easily, to reduce the amount of lectins (anti-nutrients). I added filtered water to the appliance, added the pre-soaked/rinsed/peeled almonds to the basket, placed the basket into the appliance, selected the "Raw Nut Almond" mode, pressed "Start", and the delicious almond milk was ready in under 10 minutes. It tastes great on its own, but you can definitely add other flavors as well, such as vanilla.There are a few things to note about this Nut Milk Maker. One thing to note with this appliance is that you have to be careful when cleaning. There are directions on how to safely clean the various parts; it is not dishwasher safe. It does, however, have a cleaning mode (especially when making foods) and a nicely designed brush to clean the filter basket. Another thing to note is that this appliance has a lot of nice protective operating safety features. Lastly, it is recommended not to use this appliance more than twice at one time; thus, it couldn't be used to make milk all day, for example. Overall, this is a great little appliance that can do a lot.

This is an excellent nut milk maker, perfect for home use. It’s easy to operate and ensures that the whole family can enjoy fresh, customized nut or soy milk anytime. Since getting this machine, I’ve stopped using my old soy milk maker—the filtering step was always a hassle. With this one, you simply choose your preferred recipe, and it produces smooth, fresh milk with no need for filtering. I'm also gradually exploring its smoothie and soup functions.

I wanted to like this nut milk maker, but they made it hard. The good: first it looks sleek and nice, seems well built and is solid. It is also very large. Where things go awry is when you try to use it. The instruction book is incomplete and contains many typos. The unit comes with many items not listed in the manual. There is a plastic bowl that is never referenced in the manual anywhere so I am left wondering if this should be used, should it be in the machine, do I throw it away...?I really wanted to make oat milk, the instructions tell you how much oats to use then say to add water, but how much... I don't know? All it says is not to go over the MAX 1.5L, so is the amount of water to use 1.5L... I don't know?The unit itself can serve as a carafe for storing your milk, but I wish it had come with a lid for keeping in the refrigerator. All-in-all I I feel this unit was just not ready for primetime.

This is a all in one milk making machine, to make your own milk from home. This comes with a guide book on how to make various milks with different types of nuts, oats, etc. For example I used the first option for Almond milk. This recipe calls for 1 cup of almonds, a drop of vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. I left out the salt. I added water to the max fill line. Within 10 minutes from start to finish it had an entire pitcher of fresh almond milk. With 1 full size bag i can make about a dozen almond milk containers filled! Super awesome that it 1 saves money 2 is fresh 3 you can make whatever recipe you like to your own desire.
