Great product, it works as advertised and it is very simple to configure. Also, the vendor is awesome too, recently I had an issue with my device and they replaced it immediately.

It’s good, the app is good also! 2 concerns!1. app does not tell you when food is being dispensed on timer2. Fish flakes will clog the tray so be very carefulOther than that it works good exact timing on timer, down to the seconds.

I bricked my old battery powered feeder by briefly dunking it, I did a lot of research and this was really the only viable wifi/plugged in option. I am actually very pleasantly surprised by its excellence and the value for money it represents, and I’m not easily impressed.So, the app is wonky and clearly built on very poorly translated Chinese, but once you figure out what certain misapplied words stand for it works well and captures a great longitudinal data log of all feedings, manual and auto.It can run on a usb-A wire alone and can also have AA back up if you want. You can pick up to six auto feeds per day but you can have your choice of multiple “shares” (intended to mean rotations of the feeder) per feeding.I’ve had about 200 rotations in the month I’ve owned it. Works reliably and flawlessly. So much better than having to change AA batteries monthly and also beats resetting the clock and reprogramming all feedings on a crappy black and white LCD screen every time like its competition.So yeah, spend the extra few bucks (or save a few, some of the battery non-wifi units cost more than this) and enjoy much less hassle and expense and track it all automatically to boot. Your anthias and chromis (certainly my bimacs and chromis love it!) will thank you for it in the form of possibly not dying for looking at them funny at least for awhile for it!

I bought one of these a few months ago right before going on vacation. It was a bit of a rush buy, I didn't research it nine ways to Sunday like I usually do. So I wasn't really sure if I would happy with it. After using it over the last few months I'm very pleased with it overall. It's a good design that works well. The opening where the food comes out is facing away from the water when it's not feeding, which eliminates any issues with moisture getting up into the feed chamber. Very easy to set it to feed the fish exactly when you want it to. You can actually plug it into a USB source to power it if you want to. I'm using cheap batteries in mine right now and it's still going after almost 3 months. The unit will warn you when you need to change the batteries. I'm very happy with it.

I bought this feeder to replace our old feeder that would slowly rotate like a clock and push the food out. We had issues with our old feeder stopping, jamming, and not feeding our turtle while on vacation and thankfully I'd left a key with our neighbor to check while we were away. After that last time where it stopped working in between days where the neighbor was checking, I went and bought this one as I saw it had better technology, you can adjust how many times it feeds in a day (super easy btw), and it fed so much more food in those feeding intervals (it's adjustable) than any of our previous feeders, and wasnt as difficult to put food into like our previous one where 5 pieces of food fit in a slow and god forbid you knock into it and food goes flying or tumbles out, I digress. We got this feeder, set it up, and have been so happy with it. Honestly it's an absolutely wonderful feeder and I highly recommend. The tank wall attachment is perfect, it's adjustable and very secure, the mounting bracket won't budge, although I learned that the feeder itself attached to the bracket has a potential to fall off which is where the next part comes in. But before that, know that this feeder is awesome it even comes with one of those suction cup hoops where you can either train for pets to come to the hoop for food, or if you have surface floating plants, it will prevent the plants from entering that hoop space so your pets can actually get the food when it drops. It's really a great nifty and thoughtful feeder.Now here is where the great until part comes in. Of no fault of the product or company, you must be aware that it is NOT waterproof in any way at all! I was setting up our new tank since our turtle had outgrown it's old one and I accidently bumped into the tank/feeder and it fell into the turtle tank for maybe 10 seconds not even before I yanked it out and rushed to get the batteries out and dry it off. The item did not get fully submerged, but the battery area did get wet and possibly the internal components. There is no way to open up the feeder to try to dry the internals other than where the batteries sit. The place for the batteries is not sealed in a waterproof type way and neither is the rest of the feeder. Obviously it was never suppose to take a dive but accidents happen and unfortunately I'm accident prone. I dried the feeder the best I could and let it sit out to dry all day and overnight and this morning tried to put in new batteries, in hopes that miracles happen and it would turn back on. Unfortunately that was not the case, the feeder won't turn on and I'm shooting myself in the foot for my clumsiness.Honestly it's a wonderful feeder, I was even looking to see if this company made a bigger one for bigger food since our turtle will eventually get bigger and need bigger food, but I wasn't planning on replacing it so soon (I bought it in June *facepalm*). I highly recommend for anyone that wants to ensure their beloved animals will get fed at the same time consistently. I just recommend for those that are not as clumsy as me. I do wish this design was a bit waterproof given the environment it is working in or for, which is why I'm dropping off a star and maybe the creators will adjust their design one day to make the product more waterproof or resistant. Or perhaps adjust the mounting to make sure the feeder itself is secured maybe with a screw type locking or other type system so that a simple bump to the feeder wont potentially cause the feeder to take a dive. Especially since the mounting bracket to the wall is super secure, in fact the bracket is still attached to the old tank and didn't budge at all.Overall, I really truly recommend this feeder, I was hoping to get a longer time and use out of it, but accidents happen and I'm prone to making them happen. This feeder is great for a variety of food types from fish food to turtle logs and pellets, truly give it a go if you want something that wont fail you, just make sure you aren't clumsy like me. Now I get to go and either look for that bigger style feeder or reorder this one to make up for my clumsiness, learn from me lol

I bought this as I needed a way to feed my betta while I was away for 2 weeks and wasn't able to get anyone who could come feed my fish.Betta food is super small and on the 2 smallest opening it would let out between 4 to 8 pieces of food which was enough for my betta plus fed the cleaning crew as well.My betta may have been able to eat a little too much while I was gone with this but it's honestly to be expected and I'm just glad it worked so well overall!I like that the set up was simple, easy assembly, button for manual feeding and then a 24 hour and 12 hour and 4 hour setting which could be useful for a more populated tank and whatnot. I have another automatic feeder for a different tank that is way more tedious for set up lolThe funnel was very useful as I only had one small hole in my lid I could have the food drop into and without the funnel a lot of the food wound have just wound up on the lid instead of in the tank.I also liked that there are two barrel sizes to use. Using the smaller one allowed me to have it so less food came out at one time compared to the bigger one that came with it so it reduced out much my betta would have been over fed, and is good to have the larger option if I need it for a bigger tank down the line.
