I still haven't been able to train my dog to drop the ball in this on her own. I've tried hundreds of times. She brings the ball to me to drop it in for her.

Leaves something to be desired. Thought ALL the balls would be rubber but it was 3 tennis balls which my dog only chews up and 3 rubber balls vs 6. Got the machine because of the rubber ball advertisement. The machine doesn’t work well if the balls are wet or dirty. It stops working, but a dog catches the ball in his slimy mouth and drops it on the ground. The balls have to be cleaned and dried with each use. Not convenient to teach the dog to drop it in if it can’t withstand grass and saliva.It’s great for the yard because it won’t send the balls over the fence and shoots them far enough for my dog to run after. I have a springer spaniel. I’d give it a 3 because of the lack durability of withstanding moisture and dirt. It’s a dog toy after all.

Excellent toy! Our dogs love it, and entertain themselves until the balls get too slimy to shoot. So, word of advice, if u got slobbery dogs - order extra balls to extend the play time.

My 9lb toy poodle would play with it mostly in the evenings before bedtime to get some energy out. The launcher was not used daily I’d say 2-3x a week for about 1-2 hrs if that. Kept it stored in the box and made sure to wipe balls down because as another person stated the machine will not work if it’s wet. About 3 months into having the product, we took it out of the box and it will not turn on. It was only used indoors, never dropped, nothing happened to it. It just stopped working. Not a good value for the price especially since it will not work after only 3 months.

This is she 3rd ball launcher for my active Dachsund. It was so easy to train her. It’s actually the balls she loves. The balls have bumpy grooves and she doesn’t chew them to smitherines. Absolutely would buy again. Only wish is that it was rechargeable instead of 8 C batteries.

Worked fine, but too weeny for my pup.Can't get slobber , rain , grass ,.mud etc in the machine (my other one called godoggo was freaking awesome and took the mud etc)Hard to find balls that work and that are the right size.Rubber balls I found didn't spit out, it was to slick and wouldn't go through.This works like a baseball machine, two spinning wheels on tboh sides, ball drops, timer sets to drop and there it goes.Okay distance, good for indoor use.Again no tough enough for my pup. Waste of money but perfect for a small or old dog that won't run it into the ground or slobber the Jesus out of it.
