My cat was skeptical at first, even though she likes lasers, but she still got into it on the slower setting.A few days later, and she's running around at the higher setting until she gets tired. Great fun toy if you have the floor space, can have it run partway up the wall too.

My cats love this laser! It keeps them busy while we are at work. I don't have to worry about them going crazy or tearing the house down because it is directed (the laser is adjustable) at the floor. I do wish the cord was longer.

Great with batteries, but not usb. Plugged in usb and charged overnight. Worked ONLY while plugged in! Dead when unplugged. Disappointing

IMPORTANT TO KEEP IN MIND:This is *NOT* a 360° moving laser, meaning it will not turn in a circle and make the dot go all around the cat-shaped setup. It’s not physically capable of that given the structure is on a fixed base that has no swivel lol. Instead, if at a reasonable height, it will make a circle (more like an oval) in FRONT of it for them to chase. I’ve seen a few reviews on a variety of these products where people seem to be confused about that.I make the distinction that it needs to be a reasonable height because the higher it is placed on something, the bigger the area it will cover. Otherwise, if you place it low to the ground (low like at coffee table height or something), it will only cover a very small area. There is an adjustable lever in the back that will allow for the oval to extend even further out. We set ours up on the edge of our island/bar and let it face towards the living room area, and it will cover the whole open area where they can run and chase after it.It does what it says on the tin, though. The laser is bright enough for my cat to see it during the daytime when it kicks on (it has a timer that allows it to shut on and off every ~15mins … I turn it off completely at night for bedtime, though … our cats have gotten used to a schedule now and rarely get the 3am zoomies lol).I will say that it does put out a noise that is noticeable — enough of a noise that they now know exactly what it is and will run into the room where it’s at to chase the dot because they will hear it turn on.Mine will often play with it until it kicks off, but there are some times where they will just sit and watch the dot for a bit. Either way, it keeps them occupied lol. It’s not the sturdiest item ever, but it’s good enough for what it is and should hold up well over time with the right care. Like, don’t throw it around, slam it down, or let it get knocked off onto a hard surface constantly and it will last years as long as the light continues to function. I’ve had it for a few months now and it has constant use, but still looks and functions as if it was brand new/day one of receiving. You don’t need batteries. You can just plug it in directly using the cord that comes with it, but you can use any for extra length as long as it has a USB-C end.Overall, it’s a fun little bit of entertainment that is decently priced for your cat if they enjoy chasing after a laser dot.

Works well, but over time it does get noisy when it turns on with the laser.Wish it had more patterns and more speed levels. The laser itself fades or gets real distorted as it moves further out.You have to position the entire gadget a certain way to get the dot to stay an actual dot.Love that it turns on for several minutes and then goes back on after and about 2 hours.Keeps my cats entertained 50% of the time, but as I mentioned, I wish there were other patterns and more speed levels to this.If this product would change out patterns and speeds automatically, I am sure my cats and kittens would enjoy it moreso.I do recommend this, and would buy again.

My cats LOVE this and so do I. I can't remember why the first one failed but it was worth buying another and the price is right. I left off a star because it has to be plugged in to work and the cord is short. It would be PERFECT 5 stars if it charged and was wireless so it could sit anywhere because the laser light goes too high depending where you set it and you are limited by the cord.

I love my cats, but they have been acting weird lately. Ever since the pandemic ended and I started going back to work, they have been super needy and clingy. They cry when I leave and follow me around when I come back. I wanted to find a way to keep them entertained and happy while I was away, so I bought this awesome cat laser toy. It's so easy to use, you just plug it in and it turns on automatically every 90 minutes for 15 minutes. It has a safe laser that moves around randomly and makes my cats go crazy. They chase it all over the room and have so much fun. The only downside is that it's kind of loud, so I don't like to have it on when I'm home. But it's perfect for when I'm at work, because it keeps them busy and distracted. The toy seems sturdy and well-made, but I don't know how long it will last. It has a moving part that might break eventually. Also, the laser is not really random, it has a pattern that repeats itself. But my cats don't seem to mind, they still enjoy it. One thing to watch out for is where you place the toy. You don't want the laser to hit anything that might fall or break, or anything that your cats might knock over. So make sure you check the area before you leave the room. Other than that, this is a great toy for cat lovers and I highly recommend it.
