I was really surprised how well this worked for my rescue pup who is scared of everything. My contractor was impressed with it and is buying one for his dog as well. It's doesn't leak and is heavy duty. I do keep it in the shade so it doesn't get the water hot. It was easy to put together and hook up to my outdoor faucet. The stability of it is solid and will last along time.

Better than plastic cup bird waterers as is a lid metal with covered float switch that connects direct to water line.

Got this for my ducks and chickens. Seems to work great the, ducks figured it out right away and I have seen the chickens use it but they still tend to use their other waterer. They do forage so this gets quite dirty but the drainage hole makes cleaning it really easy. I replaced the washer and plug with a wine cork for easy draining since I do it daily and it’s close to the ground.

This is my second one of these. I love these automatic water bowls for my dogs. I have 5 big dogs, and these bowls are amazing. They refill by themselves since they are hooked up to a water line. They don't overflow due to the float that is inside. They're easy to clean with a plug at the bottom of the bowl. Fastened right to the wall, they are up and off the floor, there's no mess, you never trip over them, the dog never tips them over. Honestly, they're the best bowls you can get. Oh!, and they don't rust!

Been looking for something a bit more automatic for use to provide water to my broad breasted turkeys and this works out nicely. It's a good idea to have redundant water sources just in case so I keep a standard poultry waterer in a different area but so far the turkeys much prefer this automatic one. They seem to become even more interested when the water level gets low enough and starts to refill. Anyway, it's a well made product that feels nice and sturdy. I definitely like the metal guard that folds down in front of the float mechanism that protects it from getting knocked around as whatever animal you have drink from it. Noice product.

Works just like it says it would. We were having issues with cleaning other bowls, mold growing, and the constant need to fill our dogs bowl with the hot summer. This has been a life saver. Hooked it up to an existing hose and it works great!
