these work well but to be perfwctly honest these do not stick to the edge of the window frame ... they stick on the doors paint !!!! ignore the rufus ai on here of course it dosent work and its reviews are wrong !!!

Very easy to install.Clean the surface good before applying.Did use a folded over piece of cardboard at the front edge of window to help press the visor into the channel.Also used a sharp knife to run perpendicular along the edge to scrape off the sharp lip left from the manufacturer.For you technical folks- I chamfered the edge, so I don’t get the equivalent to a nasty paper cut when I hand wash or clean the windows.You have been warned!

These Ventshade Vent visors are exactly what I expected. I have had these on every truck I have owned and they are just great. 5 stars for product, price and ease of installation.I love me my Amazon prime. And I love it even more when I can buy from Amazon directly as the seller. But I have reason to be less than pleased with this shipment. This package was opened and taped back together. Probably a return. Not a big deal, ACCEPT that where the parts are shrink wrapped at the factory in a way that allows zero movement, the open package did allow the parts to move and scrape against each other leaving scratches and cloudy areas on all 4 parts. Now being Amazon Prime, and especially sold by Amazon, I could have returned these and got a new set no questions asked. That is the beauty of Amazon. But I didn't want to wait on having to send them back and receive new. I had the opportunity to use a warm dry garage, and annoying as the damage is, it is not so bad that can't live with it. I am going to try some of that rub on lens restore crap from Harbor Freight and see if that won't cover the cloudy scratchy smudges. If it does, good, if it don't, well Ill eat it.But this is aimed directly at you AMAZON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your whole gig is based on simply the best customer service anywhere. It is not acceptable to sell these as NEW. You have a mechanism for selling returned, opened slightly damaged stuff at a reduced price. I have used that option often. These were sold as NEW. I am certain this was not a case of normal operation. This must have been a mistake somehow. When you sell as many items every day that Amazon does, there are bound to be mistakes. I get it. But it was an inconvenience just the same and annoying. The only reason I didn't avail myself of your excellent return policy is that I am impatient in this case to just get my new truck set up. But I wanted to let be known, NOT COOL MAN!

I have put AVS vent visors on every vehicle my extended family has owned, and they have not failed any of us yet. They're extremely easy to install. I had one on my beater car start leaking at the tape seal at year 9 post-installation. A super-thin bead of heat/freeze resistant silicone fixed that for $3. That was 3 years ago... no leaks since. They still haven't cracked or come off yet and are going to outlast the car. I highly recommend AVS shades. (Just make sure you follow all the directions and have an extremely clean surface and proper temperature at installation.) This set is for my husband's truck, and they'll fit perfect once it gets above zero degrees outside.

Installed on 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT: Read reviews by others about the in-channel style interfering with the window mechanism on some vehicles but decided to give item a shot anyways. Turned out installation was a breeze and no interference. Took my time so installation on all 4 windows was about 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend this product as final installation has a much cleaner look than the other style (not in-channel). Just waiting for some rain to test reason I purchased product in the first place.Addendum: Drove through a hard rain yesterday evening with window down about 4 inches and this product did its job keeping the rain outside where it belongs. I am completely satisfied with this product.
