I installed it and instantly it shorted out my radio and gauge cluster $600 fix coming up this monday.My truck is running in that photo no lights or anythingDONT BUY IF I COULD GIVE LESS STARS I WOULDDONT BUY!!!!!

2018 Ford F150 3.0L diesel: this thing really works! Permanently (as long as it's installed) disables the engine Auto Start/Stop switch. This one does NOT allow continued manual use of the switch (though other mfrs do allow this).Installation was easy, took about half hour with most of that time spent trying to unhook connector on back of switch.I am assuming vehicle mfrs are installing these switches to improve fuel mileage but even with the switch disabled I am getting slightly over 25MPG so (to me) the wear and tear on starter would far out weigh the slight fuel savings.I highly recommend this!

Ordered this for a 2019 F-150.No instructions, but it's a relatively straightforward installation if you're comfortable with pulling apart your dash center console. It takes about 15 minutes.Once in place, it works exactly as described.
