Ich hatte im August eine Hand-OP und konnte nur eine Hand benutzen. Darum habe ich mir diesen Strickring mit Ständer gekauft. Ich hatte schon vorher Erfahrung mit Strickringen und -leisten und wusste schon wie das funktioniert. Es liegt aber auch eine gute Anleitung dabei. Leider ist diese nur auf englisch und französisch. Auf YouTube findet man aber eine Menge Anleitungen.Mit nur einer Hand kann man zwar nicht alle Möglichkeiten (ich meine Stricktechniken) die dieser Ring bietet ausschöpfen, doch zum stricken von Mützen und Schals reicht es.So habe ich es gemacht: Zuerst habe ich das Garn die ganze Runde gewickelt und den Faden so um den letzten Pin gewickelt, dass er sich nicht mehr lockern konnte. Dann habe ich den Strickharken genommen und die Maschen gestrickt. Der Ring bewegt sich leicht. Wichtig ist, dass man das richtige Garn wählt (etwas elastisch) und nicht zu fest wickelt.Auf der Internetseite von Kb-Loom findet man viele Strickideen. Allerdings sollte man Englisch können.Mir gefällt dieser Ring und seine Möglichkeiten.

I like this loom very much. I have arthritis and I drop stitches when knitting. This makes it easy to keep track of stitches. Directions aren't too helpful but plenty of videos to show you step by step.

I am in love with loom knitting. OMG being able to perform a double knit for a more sturdy product amazing. This is very versatile and the turntable makes it so easy to knit while sitting at a table. Love this product.

I love this loom and how it stitches. It works yarn beautifully. What I would change is I would offer the option of every other peg a diff color. If possible I would make the peg heads a little deeper to hold the yarn. These are not big issues just little conveniences. Using it is fun and if you have a nice table to set it on, extremely comfortable to use. Setting it on your lap is fine but I find my shoulders fatigue after a while so I set it down then come back to it. All in all I love it and I marked every other of my pegs with a sharpie!

Skill level: Smarter than what you're working with.This very worthy product does what it's supposed to do and does it well. It's ...fun to use. Very well constructed of high quality plastic, the pins don't break no matter how I stress them. Dropping the loom approximately 2' to the floor caused no damage. It's turntable moves smoothly to keep you moving along and once you get about 10 rows in, you have product to tug on and eventually can see how your work is coming along.Up for a challenge? This could be it. The instructions are pretty clear but seem to miss a few key steps for people who lack experience with such hobbies. It took time and a range of emotions to learn to properly use the loom, but I got it down and gained momentum.At this time all I can speak to is the double-knit weave which is very dense and attractive. Getting an end product that I would leave the house in or give to someone I care for is something I aspire to, but for now my rotating loom is back in it's box and was as easy to disassemble as assemble.If you are looking for a lightweight but strong high-quality knitting loom that rotates, this is it!If you arrived here via your search for "knitting machine", make no mistake. This is a loom.
