I have purchased 3 of these TOYS. All three either arrived broken or broke within a short period of time. I mean the first one was a Christmas gift and I returned the last one today (02/15/25).I purchased all three from two different sites. I know it sounds like I should have given up earlier but I really wanted one of them to work.I call it a toy because it will not hold up to making many projects. So maybe a child will be tired of it when it breaks. But I would not recommend this be purchased for a child. It would be a bad experience with a new craft. And a total waste of money.P.S. the statement above is just my opinion. Some people really like/love their machine. That's one reason I kept trying to get one that worked. After 3 strikes I have to quit.

Faster than by hand, but can't go as fast as I thought I'd be able to.

Carriage tries to jump its track. I have submitted for a return. I would have been will to try an exchange, however there was no option. I have the sentro 48 and it works great. I needed a smaller machine for a smaller project so I had no hesitation in trying the 40 pin, but sadly it is defective.I did try yarn I know works in my 48 pin and several others and the same thing happens, even with no tension. It spins just fine until you put yarn in it. It will do a few rows just fine but then tries to jump the track. It’s also way louder and harder to turn then my working sentro 48

my unit didn't have a tension guide in the box.But watching YouTube video's was a huge help setting it up, casting on, using my fingers for tension and for just about everything.the instructions in the box are ok, but I'm a visual person when it comes to these things so YouTube is awesome!!

I have most of the sizes of these dentro machines and I also have the addi machines. This one worked as it should. There were a few parts of plastic I had to file down because they kept the yarn from going down. Other than that no issues. It would be really nice if there was a counter.

The SENTRO Knitting Machine has been a fantastic addition to my crafting toolkit. Setting it up is quick and intuitive, with clear instructions that guide you through every step. Once assembled, using the crank to create rows of stitches feels almost effortless. The machine’s ability to knit both flat and circular pieces gives you plenty of flexibility to tackle a variety of projects like scarves, hats, or even blankets.Even if you've never used a knitting machine before, you'll find the learning curve to be minimal. In just a short time, I was able to complete my first project, and the results were stunning!Sturdiness:The construction of the SENTRO Knitting Machine is impressive. It feels solid and stable, even during extended use. The materials are durable, and the crank operates smoothly without any wobbling or hesitation. The design ensures that it stays securely in place while you work, which is essential for consistent results.Despite its lightweight appearance, it holds up well to repeated use, making it an excellent investment for hobbyists and serious knitters alike. I have used this quite a few times and each time has been easy. It is louder then I expected it to be, but otherwise I haven't had any issues yet.

I finally bit the bullet and bought this machine! I’ve wanted one for so long! I absolutely love it!! Rather than spending a week knitting a beanie, I can make one from start to finish (Pom included) in about 30 minutes! I love love love it!! My arm gets tired after a while but I love it!

My mother absolutely LOVES this machine, she accidentally broke the first one after she tried yarn that was too thick but quickly learned. We bought her a second and she hasn’t had any problems at all! I’ve seen her produce over 100 toques with this machine no problem. She’s even bought the little guy for smaller things. I would highly recommend this product.
