I have been a woodturner for over 20 years. Bought the round cutter on a whim to see what all the hoopla was about. Mounted the cutter on a 1/2” solid brass rod and turned a handle. This tool is amazing. It is now the first tool I reach for rough and fine turning. Watch a You Tube video and anyone can become a good turner in minutes. A no brainer.

Great for turning resin blanks on a lathe. I re-sharpen them with a flat diamond 1200 grit stone many times over and I do not have to replace them when they are dull.

This is what makes the easy-wood tool work so good. Only down side; you really can't sharpen them.BUT, the cut a long time and are moveable; You'll get a lot of use out of it.

There’s no visible difference between this little cutter and the one that came with my carbide cutting tool, but this one cuts much better. I just used it to turn two very large cherry and maple vases, and I have seen no evidence that it has dulled. Wood cuts and peels off in uniform strands (instead of chips and dust). The only downside is that it cuts SO well that you have to be careful not to overcut...it’s easy to leave a groove by accident.
