Got some new rims/wheels for my 2012 Camaro, after the last tire rotation an error message came on my dash: "Service Tire Pressure Monitoring System Recommended" along with a glowing yellow wrench.Took my car over to my local tire store (Where I purchased my wheels and tires). They used a diognostic tool to check the sensors and said everything was fine. The error/check tire system came up again went to YouTube and read my owners manual on the subject. For MY car there is a certain sequence to reset/match the sensors which includes using a reset Device. This was really easy to use, a good price and reset my tire sensors. Problem Solved. Highly recommend this if you like doing your own stuff RIGHT. I totally trust my tire store, but they didn't follow my cars unique procedures for a correct sensor reset with new wheels and tires. This device is great!

bought to program winter tires for a 2020 NissanNot in the database and Nissan makes it difficult .Not too much to fault the tool as Nissan requires a more technical tool.

Here's what you need to know:1. The owners manual is HORRIBLE. If you're looking for how to use this tool, head to You Tube, because your owner's manual won't tell you a thing.2. This does NOT work with most sensors. If you're using AUtel sensors, you're in good shape, otherwise, LOOK OUT, it won't work.3. We thought we would save money by purchasing generic sensors that could be used for most everything, and buying a programmer, so we could do everything at home. However, that was NOT the case. Even $2,000 programmers don't work with everything, so be very careful when you purchase.4. I used this programmer one afternoon, and then it simply went dead. It did not need to be charged. It would not power up. A search revealed this has happened to a number of people, they offered troubleshooting, my manual did not. I decided to pack it up and return it.

Had an issue with new TPMS sensors on a new 37" tire and wheel package I purchased for my JK. One sensor refused to read properly and I couldn't get it fixed. Was going to take it to a shop but decided to purchase the Autel. Glad I did. It works great and resolved the issue, and now some of my friends with Jeeps know they won't have to deal with the issue I did in the future.

Autel TS401 TPMS tool arrived with software version 3.2, and worked on all my cars right out of the package, even our 2017 Malibu which could not be triggered by other TP tools because it uses 433MHz frequency. There is a newer software version on Autel website, but will stick with 3.2 since it works. No problem triggering and reading sensor ID, pressure, temperature, and frequency for 2011 Camaro, 2014 Stingray, or 2017 Malibu. I have read other reviews where buyers said quality was not good, but it appears there may be some knock-off versions, so buy from a reliable seller. The only negative I saw is that my older TPMS tool displayed the pressures to 2 decimal places (ie 30.65 PSI) and this tool only displays the whole numbers.

Seems to work. I bought it for my 07 Nissan Murano. I was not sure If I wanted to replace the sensors when I got new tires because of the price of them from the dealer. However, this was a feature I bought working, and I still want it being available. Two of my original sensors were dead, so I just replaced all four. I bought four VDO SE10001HP REDI-Sensor 314.9 MHz/315 MHz TPMS Sensors. With the price of the dealer's sensors, I saw fit to buy the tool and the sensors since I will be using it when I rotate the tires.I used the Autel TS401(triggered and IDed new sensors) in combination with the Autel Maxidas DS708 (placed the car in learning mode, and wrote the new IDs to the car's computer), so the car can learn the sensors. The car confirmed each sensor with its park lights with each tire scan. Easier than I thought. I had no issues and it has only been one week and two days, and everything is still working so far!I forgot to mention that I bought this tool just in time for someone else to solve an issue with someone else's sensor. Two cars in one week were cleared of that dreadful light.
