The AKTV8 cap sensor is a great addition for an RV. Installation was quick and straightforward, and pairing it with the Pressuretech app took just a few minutes. The app is very intuitive and the layout is great! The Drive Mode functionality makes it easy to monitor tire pressure while on the road. It provides real-time updates and peace of mind, especially on long trips. Highly recommend for any RV owner looking for a simple and reliable TPMS solution!

Installing the AKTV8 TPMS cap sensor on a motorcycle was incredibly easy. I was surprised how easy was to pair with the app in just a few steps, and the entire setup process was straightforward. After the initial install, 2 of 4 sensors would not sync with the app on my phone at all. Even at the tire, so distance wasn't the issue.Tried multiple possible fixes suggested by the tech support team.Also, the other 2 (good) sensors signal wouldn't reach my phone while driving down the road. No signal booster was included.Ended up returning for refund.

I recently purchased this tire pressure monitoring system for my trailer, and I must say I’m extremely disappointed. The user interface looks like it was designed by a 10-year-old. It’s clunky, unintuitive, and clearly not user-friendly. It’s hard to believe that a company would release a product with such a poor design, let alone expect customers to use it effectively.It’s evident that the company didn’t bother to test this product properly before putting it on the market. If they did, it’s unbelievable that someone would actually approve this design. The poor interface raises serious doubts about the quality and reliability of the product itself.Given this experience, I find it hard to trust that the monitoring capabilities of this system are accurate or reliable. If the interface is this bad, how can I be confident that the mechanics of the system are any better?

I've been looking at pressure monitoring systems for my trailers for a while. Most systems seem to use a dedicated display and I really didn't want to deal with the hassles of mounting it and pairing to sensors. I was hoping the AKTV8 system would be more convenient to set up and use and it really delivers. This system just works with no fussiness, hassles, or other drama. It's also surprisingly convenient to be able to carry the monitor's display with you as you do a walk-around ("Is that tire looking a little low?").Software setup is very simple, intuitive, and pairing is very easy by just scanning each cap right into the app. There's really nothing more to say than that. It just works like I expect it to. Accuracy seems right-on with displayed pressure matching my (higher-quality) gauge.At first, I didn't like the idea of using the locknut to secure the cap, but now I see that it's another thoughtful feature. The locknut which is put on the valve stem first and then tightened against the bottom of the cap allows you to set the perfect compression of the seal to the valve stem while also allowing correct torque of the cap on the stem to keep it secure. It takes a few extra seconds to install, but definitely worth it to prevent the cap from loosening, or overcompressing the seal, which could cause a leak. You definitely don't want to induce a leak by a ham-fisted attempt to monitor for leaks.An unexpected bonus is temperature monitoring. I can watch in real-time as tire temps increase or decrease in response to towing speed. I'm not sure how accurate the temp can be by sensing on the tire valve, but I can definitely see a trends, or if one tire is running significantly hotter than others which could indicate a bearing problem or a tire beginning to fail.The overall quality and usability feels like it is geared to pros who would use it every day. For me, this means peace of mind while towing. This is a very good system overall and I'm very pleased with it.
