Very sturdy and simple unit. Fits right over my old shredder basket and does not slide around. Pretty quiet. Excellent for the price. I would recommend it for home use.

Es una buena trituradora, además de papel también destruye discos y credenciales, es la primera que compro en su tipo y es mejor que andar con las tijeras rompiendo toda esa papelería que no quieres que ande por ahí rodando y que ya no quieres, me gustó tanto que creo que si valdría la pena comprar la siguiente versión que hace confetti, está solo hace tiras, así que consideralo, ya que supongo la decisión depende de lo delicado de la información. Finalmente mencionar que es rápida, si se calienta se detiene y la tienes que dejar descansar un rato, puedo meter hasta 7 hojas a la vez y las destruye sin problema, poco más si logra destruirlas pero se alenta, tiene un extensor para poder adaptarlo a distintos tamaños de contenedores.

If you follow the page count instruction (up to 8) it does what you expect it to and we'll. It is NOT cross cut so the amount of paper to be disposed of is high but that seems normal for all of these. Home Office shredders. A good buy overall

Bought this to replace shredder that was 15 years old. Does an excellent job. Holding up to shredding papers as we clean out my mom's house.

I chose this one coz I have cards that I need to shred and cutting them is hard on my hands. Convenient to put away and doesn't need added space. Just place on top of a trash basket or between 2 chairs and it's usable and easy then put away. Very strong and you can tell the durability as it shreds the credit cards or IDs. Has not jammed yet and it's great for home use.

This shredder works well and does the job on paper, credit cards, CD's, etc. The only problem is that when the extension it pulled out far enough for a typical office size rubbermaid trash can, the extension is very fragile and WILL break.

While it doesn't come with a bin, the workaround is simple: just slot it over any bin lying around, and voila, you've got an instant shredding bin!🌟 Pros:Convenient Setup: Easily fits over any bin for hassle-free shredding on the go.Longevity: This shredder has proven to be a durable workhorse, lasting for an extended period.👎 Cons:Replacement Blade Challenge: The only real downside is the replacement blade. Despite trying shredder lube and paper, it doesn't seem to improve the blades' performance. Eventually, a complete replacement becomes necessary.💸 Cost Consideration: Given the shredder's impressive longevity, I don't mind the cost of a replacement blade every two years. Upon receiving the shredder and trying to shred some single sheets of paper, the device started sparking and emitting a lot of smoke. Basically it was completely faulty and dangerous. Needless to say I have returned it
