Shredder works fine, but the door on the bin doesn’t close as shredded paper gets deposited behind the bin and pushes it out of shredder

This is by far the one I have ever had. It’s powerful, quite and I love the fact that it lets me know when to empty the bin.

This is the 3rd paper shredder that I have owned in my lifetime and is the best one. The first one I owned was a pretty basic 6 sheet shredder. It ran fine but was slow and took forever with the 6 sheet limit. The second was an upgrade to a 10 sheet shredder. It was faster and could take more sheets at a time but after a few years, it started jamming up like crazy and overheating, plus it was quite loud.This one takes 12 sheets, is very fast, and very quiet compared to my previous shredder. It's also nice that it has wheels to easily move. The attached bucket is of reasonable size so I don't have to empty as often. I am very happy with this purchase.

I wanted to give the Aurora shredder both a 5 star and a 1 star, mainly because after a lot of usage in 3 days, it mostly worked well, but I would never expect that it would shred 12 sheets on a regular basis without heating up and stopping for extended periods (at least 30 minutes rest time). It does work well with up to 5 sheets for extended periods, but did overheat and shut down several times even with that load. The good thing is that it seems not to have been weakened by those periods of overheating.There were two things that I did not like about the shredder. The first was that the shredder ben is much smaller than I would like, therefore necessitating that you stop to empty the bin every three or four minutes of continued shredding. The other thing I disliked was that nowhere in the instructions was there any information about how to remove the bin for emptying--and that it not self-evident. I just happened to stumble on that removal by trying to lift the unit by the handle of the bin, and it popped out.All in all, it seems like a good and reliable unit for a normal day to day usage of shredding things as they are generated, but it is not designed to rid yourself of a 10 to 20 year supply of saved paperwork, although if you spend enough time, you can use it that way.

Aurora products are well-rated, including on Consumer Reports. I got a smaller model, on wheels and the size fits well by my desk and I can wheel it under if I need to. Shreds just fine. I did not get the model that makes mince-meat out of the paper but for my needs, the quality and price was pefect. I have not had a jam. The credit card shred just does strips so put it in horizontally not length-wise for a better cut. I have not had a jam.It is easy to shred along the way. I was saving in bankers boxes and when I had a couple, would drive to a shred place, but this is just better.

Love this little machine. Have boxes and boxes of biz and tax documents too sensitive to throw in trash dating back to the 90s (ahhh!) stacking up and this last move (ow my back) had had enough and got this little shredder. It is eating those papers up and making my life so much simpler and less cluttered (less boxes to store and haul yay!).It's unobtrusive and nice to look at and just parks somewhere inconspicuous while not in use and blends in. It has wheels (the best!) so I don't have to lug it from spot to spot or find a surface to park it on.I'm not really testing it on thick stacks of paper to see if it goes all the way up to its specs, I'm just handing it small stacks and it works well and chops up small staples easily and goes through laminate in the little dvd slot easily. It's also not very loud.Was considering cheaper shredders but this project is long overdue with so much paper to work through I went for the slightly more expensive shredder that can handle multiple sheets, laminate, dvds, staples, and has wheels — and I'm so glad I did.Am happy with purchase. Would buy again.

parfait pour le bureau très compact surtout sur roulettes le bonheur protège le plancher.Un petit peu bruyant par contre mais il fait son travail impécablement
