My wife has been looking for a new hobby for awhile now. She's always stopping to look at yarn when we walk through the local store that carries this stuff but never actually picks anything up. I gave her this for Christmas and she got the biggest smile on her face. The kit includes plenty of yarn to get started with small projects and has a step by step manual to explain how to it all works. She got started right away and with a bit of practice can actually crochet pretty decently now. As far as the kit goes, it has everything you'd need to start out. Crochet needle, yarn, stitch markers, eyes, plastic needle, etc... I've looked at similar kits in the local box store and the prices on their kits are higher than this and only include materials for a single small creation, so I would definitely say this is well worth the money. It's a cute kit and a great skill to have.

I love that this comes with all the yarn and tools, but the videos linked with the QR code do not go into enough detail when explaining instructions. My niece and I had to rewind, slow down, and pause the video over 20 times in the first two minutes. It didn't feel worth the effort and my niece is unlikely to try again.

Would not buy again. The yarn is super cheap and thin, not like Wobbles at all.The thing I liked is the step by step videos- they are fairly easy to follow

*** EDIT ***- Their customer support reached out to me and asked if I wanted a refund. I responded with if they could just send me the directions, I would be all set since I have enough yarn and accessories on my own to complete it. They sent a whole new kit free of charge within two days. Changing to Five Stars for that customer support alone.There was not as much yarn shipped as pictured.There were only two gold key chains, not four.The eyes, sewing needling, and stitch markers were emptied all at the bottom of the box (not in a bag)And there was no instruction manual.I want to attribute it to increased holiday shipping, but can't say for sure.

The size of these were surprising. I was not expecting them to be so small. It would be nice if there’s something in the description that lets you know the outcome of the sizes for these crocheted items. I also was not a fan of the yarn. It would fray tremendously so be mindful of that.
