Description:
1.Polished treatment adds lubricity. Small pockets on the surface of the tool that act to hold coolant near the cutting edge.
2.High-speed steel tool is good for most general purpose applications, featuring a combination of hardness and toughness for wear resistance.
3.Running in a counterclockwise direction (right-hand cut), spiral fluted tool evacuates chips up and out of the cut to reduce clogging.
4.Reduced shank drill expand the size range capacity of a portable drill chuck. Common flute and overall length for minimal adjustment during tool changes.Design for drilling in low and medium tensile strength materials, such aluminum, copper, cork, plaster, plastic, rubber. Reduced shank drill bit is widely suitable for wood processing (Hardness of the material to be drilled should not exceed 29HRC.)
Note:
1.To make clean and precise holes, water is required for lubrication and cooling when drilling metals. The feed speed also should be controlled.
2. Low drill pressure and increased use of water lubrication will extend drill bit life.

I got this bit for making some 22mm holes in 1/4" aluminum, and it worked for that. Later I used it for steel, and it didn't last long. At first it was sharp and cut well, but after two holes in 1/8" mild steel it was done. A big chunk of the cutting face tore out, all the way to the other face as shown in the pictures. This is a cheap bit and you get what you pay for.

I try to drill through metal and it cannot even go through

This should not even be called a dill bit. Made of soft metal and not grind properly. Will not drill through soft butter. Only needed to in large a hole by 1mm and it could not even go 1/16 into the part made from aluminum with plenty of oil used.

Chucked in a drill press for mild steel with large pilot hole. Drill bit dulled within 10 revolutions. No way is this 29 hardness. After decades of stealing US and German technology, the Chinese still don’t know metallurgy. Do not buy.
