Purchased this to drill through the stainless steel kitchen sink, the process was quick and the entire work of installing water filter was done in no time.

I was able to drill 8 holes fairly easily in 3/16 or 1/4 steel. I still added lubricant often for each hole. It did not work well with my drill press — I believe it is under powered (time for a new one). I ended up using my 20v powered hand drill.

Ok, I’ve been drilling 304 stainless steel for the past two months on various projects and been buying left and right different drill bits of all sizes and brands. Knowing how asinine stainless is, I made sure to get only 135 degrees Cobalt M35 or M42 HSS bits. ALL of them died after one or two holes (with tapping fluid and annoying very low speeds) and half of them would even snap! Well this one, right off the bat cuts through 304 like real butter!! No more breaking my wrist and putting all of my weight on my hand drill!!Amazing, and I’m a hobby machinist. Don’t buy other brands, don’t waste your time or money, Accusize is my brand from now one, worth every penny even compared to other tool renown brands.

I needed to enlarge two 7/8" holes in 3/8" galvanized mild steel to 1". This is on a floating dock so I am kneeling over my work which is floating in salt water. The first hole cut great but, unsurprisingly, the bit bound as it was completing the hole. I reversed it out and it was dramatically bent right at the chuck. I put it in a vise and easily straightened it well enough to use it again. Doesn't seem like high speed steel should bend quite that easy. In either direction. It had a wobble after that and didn't cut worth a darn. But I got it through. I was using a half inch Milwaukee corded drill in low gear. Didn't seem much better than the stuff I get at Harbor Freight.

This was great. I was able to drill quickly through tubing on my generator without the drill bit bending like it did from another supplier of plain hss

It did the job of drilling through 1/4 plate steel. Drilled 8 holes and didn't seem to slow down and dull the edges too much. So we give it a thumbs up. Oh, we used in drill press at slower speed so as not to burn the bit. Not sure how it would stand up at high speeds, too expensive to try and waste a good bit. We used a little cutting oil as well.

Drilled out my rotors easily so I could use thicker wheel studs. Looks like it will be a fine drill bit for steel. Don't know what the rotors are made of, but figured it should be some type of alloy since the brakes don't destroy them easily.

So I had my doubts for the price and it didn't cut well at first, but after a slight regrind, it held up to 1/8" hardened stainless for several holes.
