This is the 4th Epic Series amp I've reviewed, and this particular amp, I'm not going to actually test.I'm 100% confident it'll do the power it claims.I'm an electrical engineer and audiophile.I've tested:Epic750Epic1500EpicFIVE (5 channel system amp)In all cases they have produced their rated power, right at or slight over. The Epic2000 is going to be marginally different from the Epic1500, it's only about 33% more power at each ohm load.If you want some nerdy details, go see the reviews of those other amps. These amps have a lot of great feature like:- typical knobs like gain, LPF frequency adjust, and also subsonic HPF frequency adjust.- not so typical boost gain and frequency knob, a nice addition to tune your preferred bass response.- They also have the ability to Strap or Bridge 2x identical amps to 2x the total system power which is a nice feature as well.- There's a clip light they call Maximized which is a nice addition.- and it comes with an included remote gain knob, also a nice addition.- Lastly, it has a special cable to connect to their Epicenter bass restorer product, something I've never used, but I hear good things about.- The speaker lugs are large, like 8 Awg and can fit any size wire.So if you want a solid amp with a ton of power that is clean and well designed, this is a top choice.

Paired it with 2 8 inch skar evl 600 rms each and sounds real good, clean bass! This is the way to go for under the seat setup
