This is decidedly an 'old school' item that's hard to find. I have a cassette player in my car that i use to play music on my phone. Over the years, just cleaning the head only got me so far. I bought this specifically for the demagnetizer and the difference in sound quality is amazing. Hard to get, good price and works great ... two thumbs up.

I used this product on my car cassette, which prior to using kept saying "clean the head". So, I used this product to clean the head and it still says "clean the head." Then, I used it in a console cassette player and there are no instructions on the package, so I played a cassette right afterwards and it stuck the tape to the player and now it won't play and I can't get the cassette out. Maybe if I let it dry more beforehand? and on the car player, maybe if I used more fluid it would have cleaned it better? But, without instructions, I did not know.

I liked the fact it was exactly as described and the pkg had simple and complete instructions. I had noticed on previous reviews a few people had trouble opening the fluid container...all you need is a needle, paperclip end, etc. You only need to strongly just prick the opening depression. It is designed to then just allow droplets to the tape surface. It worked fine. My player seem to come to life.

It did not fix my tape head issue. More likely an equipment issue than a cassette issue. Don't know for sure.
