While this product is working really well and my pet was needing something quick and lasting this cream is perfect. However, the price is high for this bottle size. Hopefully they can adjust that because my pet needs this quite often and due to his age 98, (human years) it's getting much worse. If you need something that works for severe itching, then you want find a better product. I am Thankful for this product!

I am pleased with this product. My dog seems to itch less when I apply it after baths.

It’s hard to use, yes, but it seems to work. I use it on the belly and more affected areas where there’s less hair but dilute it and spray it for the rest of the body. My lab has been in a kennel and was full of flea and flea bites. It’s been only two days since I’m using it and is clearly healing. Also has a rough skin patch on an elbow that seems to get softer. I’m buying more and I will update especially about the rough skin that didn’t got better with anything before. Is expensive when you have to buy more if you have a big dog, but if it keeps going like this, worth it!There is no particular smell to it, my dog is not bothered about me applying it, is not greasy, dries fast and doesn’t seem to stain things.

Look, Yes, this stuff is very thick, but do you realize that you can dilute it...I dilute it 20:1 then I put it in a spray bottle for daily ease of use. I also dilute it 8:1 during a bath...do NOT rinse it off. After your dog dries (at least 12 hours) put a onesie on them to prevent further chewing(only for shorter coated dogs) If you have a full coated St. poodle like me that has skin issues do your BEST to get the driest you can. Wet coats cause skin issues Even if you have to go to self service grooming shop. Do not dry them completely bc the dryer WILL blow off all of the medicated rinse. This is why the spray afterwards will help. Get it in the coat and let it dry....if you can't stop the chewing then maybe try fooey chewing deterrent for small spots or bitters.Get shampoos that are medicated but not tea tree, I never recommend this bc I've used it on myself and it burns like a SOB. I use all products on myself b4 used on my animals. If they have irritated skin it will hurt/burn. If no irritation, no problem. Keep hot spots DRY, this is why I do not understand sprays for hot spots. Aquaphor ointment will work fine, but keep the coat dry as possible. If you wash a thick coated dog (ex pomeranian, collie, doodle, husky) then either buy a good dog dryer or use self service grooming shop to borrow theirs. This will help drastically. Also, make sure you rinse any product completely out! Unless it is leave-on rinse/conditioner.I will post an after picture in a few weeks. The picture is of our Scottish Terrier.PS: shaving a full coated dog does NOT cool them off in the summer. Their coats keep them cool. It is their own A/C . Groomers shave your dog w/o telling you this bc of 3 reasons. Money, its easier AND many don't want to anger YOU. It's a customer service issue.A regular deshed groom costs more bc it is WAY more work to completely do a deshed groom to your dog. Shaving them down CAN damage their coats...it will come in thicker or thinner. Imagine shaving your legs, then 3 more come back where you shaved on your legs. There's a difference in breed clips and shaving down a Husky. Also, if a dogs hair is unmanageable of course shave them, like shih tzus...their hair tangles A LOT. Chewing on themselves causes matting. Doodles are NOT dander free. The dander stays in their coat...and yes they DO shed it just stays in their coats, mostly. All dogs shed, they are dogs. Don't let anyone sell you this lie. Full coated dogs still shed, it usually stays in the coat and causes mats as well. 95% of pet owners own brushes and I guarantee 💯 that hair comes out on that brush. If you want mats out use a BENDABLE SLICKER ONLY WITH A COMB! You're welcome. I have a video on how to use one. It's not letting me post it on here. Our tiktok is thedirtydog360....it is towards the bottom of our videos. My St Poodle is so relaxed while I brush him he looks dead.

I'm pretty sure I've never reviewed anything on Amazon but this stuff deserves my first and probably only one... Got a new to me dog and literally half of his body was basically one giant hot spot and no hair. I bought the shampoo that was recommended as well and that was good for the initial cleaning. I put that leave in conditioner on and he instantly stopped scratching. Within a week, his skin was no longer warm to the touch and now his hair is almost completely grown back. I tried a lot of other products that didn't work and am so greatful I found this!
