This thing is awesome. Repairs aren't perfect or invisible but it gets the job done. I've repaired so many things that otherwise would have been thrown away.

Works well and with the different styles of staples I repaired a nose on an older golf cart. There is a learning curve but once you figure it out should be good to go.

Yes in deed. I give it 5 stars! Why? It was easy to use. The demonstration didn't give me false hope. Others who purchase told me what to expect (even the staples being frail). But, it did the job that I needed it to do. How strong do the staples need to be? They heated up fast, stayed where I put them and again, did the job!!! I was a first time user and the next thing I will do is fix my garage can. Oh, and the cutter worked perfectly. They snapped immediately. No wiggling necessary. 5 stars and Two Thumbs Up

This thing works great. I used this to repair the housing on a headlight, a fender well, and two interior trim pieces. Worked so well, I started looking around for more busted plastic to fix. Very easy to use, and very satisfying.

Only used it once so far I’m always looking for a reason to pull this out! I do love it so far.Amazing tool for the value can save a lot of headache and time if you break plastic parts from time to time. Creates a structurally sound repair , great tool , I’m impressed will update if that changes!

This tool is very easy to use and is the only tool that I know of that can do a decent job of repairing LDPE type plastic. You can not repair this plastic type with glue or caulking as it will not adhere. My first project was repairing a cracked blue recycle barrel. It had cracked due to a combination of UV breakdown and manhandling and they themselves are not recyclable. I would have had to pay to dispose of it and buy a new barrel which would have cost quite a bit more than this tool. The repair turned out excellent. The heated staples secured everything in place. I used a dremel to smooth out the prongs after cutting them and now the whole barrel is sturdy and useable. Of course, it won't hold water but it doesn't need to. This would also work well on something like a cracked car bumper or a chainsaw/weedwacker housing. Highly recommended. Just a word of caution, wear safety glasses or a face shield when cutting the prongs as the metal is very hard and they become projectiles.

I recently purchased the ATOLS Plastic Welder, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I started using it, I could tell that this tool is built to last. The quality of the materials and the thoughtful design make it both durable and easy to handle. One of the standout features is its versatility. Whether I was working on small household repairs or tackling bigger DIY projects, the ATOLS Plastic Welder performed beautifully. The heat settings are precise, allowing for smooth and strong welds on a variety of plastic types.Another aspect I appreciate is the user-friendly interface. Even for someone not particularly experienced with welding tools, the clear instructions and intuitive controls made the learning curve minimal. I was able to get started on my projects right away without any frustration.Overall, the ATOLS Plastic Welder is a reliable and efficient tool that has quickly become an essential part of my toolkit. It's a great investment for anyone who frequently works with plastics. Highly recommended!

The welder works fine. 100W is more than enough because.... 100W isn't even actually used to heat the wire. The devices advertised at 150W or 200 or even 250W are just silly. I've tried them, and none of them actually use anywhere near 100W to heat the staples. Sure they may be rated for that wattage. But it doesn't make anything better. But why does it need to come with a cheap knife and useless cutters? Neither one is of any use for plastic welding. The cutters are too low quality to even cut the staple ends. The knife and cutters have both gone into the metal recycling bin. The gun itself is fine. I do wish I could find a truly high-quality one. But I won't use it enough to really need more than this cheap one. It does work. And the staple supply is good (though why they have to come in multiple bags of the same staples is a mystery.)
