I bought this to replace my ripped Polaris pool cleaner bag. Didn’t want to spend for name brand so decided to try this one. It was a great choice! This bag has held up, no issues & works perfectly. Love how it closes, better than name brand. Plus you get 2! I’m sold & will repurchase when need to.

I agree with the other person’s post here. There is one key problem. They use two different types of Velcro. The black Velcro attached to the bag opening is great and holds up well. The white Velro used to attach the bag to the hose falls apart prematurely. So I end up throwing away a still good bag due to the poor quality white Velcro. Note to manufacturer: please modify this product so black Velcro is used for both bag closure and bag attachment!

First off, I do like the hose velcro and the bag velcro but there are the two issues I had, one worse than the other. First, I almost sent them back as I could not get them installed. Didn't think it fit at first. But after checking measurements and eyeballing the situation it should work. I did get it on. It feels like its a millimeter or less too narrow of a diameter and it took a LOT of strength to get it to twist on. Perhaps it will loosen? The SECOND and the more frustrating part, if you look closely in the product image there is a stitch in the bag that makes the "bag" really a knit TUBE that easily gets full of leaves in seconds. There is an opening at top of the "tube" for the product to fill over into the "bag" part but that would only happen with fine silts and such. I basically had a 8" tube that was clogged with leaves and very difficult to get emptied. Will use these till they break and not repurchase. UPDATE - I won't u"se until they break," they are worthless and I am on here buying different ones.

Worked well, only issue is the design does not allow the debris from the bottom of the pool to be placed fully into the bag where the discharge opening is located. it's Fall, a lot of leaves sinking to the bottom of the pool. The Polaris hits the debris and sucks it into the opening, however there's a sharp turn that does not allow the leaves to go into the debris section where the velcro opening is located. Worked great when little debris was present, I guess that's the take away.

On par if not better than normal pool cleaner bags. The Velcro enclosure is very aggressive so it takes a few moments to empty the bag but it holds much more than the standard bags and appears to be be well made.

Price is great! "Ears" are weaker than original and can break when attaching to cleaner....collection area is too closed off from neck of the bag. I took a razor and gently cut the stitching on the inside. After a couple of stitches were removed, the rest came off easily. Now my bag is wide open and works and cleans much better!

I really like the quality of the product and the price point of the product. In all honesty, I would not have taken the chance on these if the price wasn't more than half the cost of the OEM bag. Having two bags makes it way easier to empty the bags since I can put the other bag on while the full bag is drying out. Time will tell how long they last but if I get a year out of them it will be worth it. Also, as an FYI the bag has a velcro opening for the emptying process. It's where the little black tab is on the back of the bag in the picture. It wasn't real clear in the description when I first bought them.

I have been maintaining my in-ground pool for 13 years. I have always used the namebrand bags. The biggest problem I have had is the velcro typically stops holding the bag closed and then the debris simply leaks back into the pool. I used this bag for July and Aug and it worked fine. I can't say how long the velcro will last, but the quality seems to be equivalent to the namebrand bag but at a much better price.
