The filters that come with the robot are good for larger objects, like leaves/twigs.. these are great filters for picking up the very fine sediment off the bottom of the pool

Works excellent. Picks up algae dust that was just cycling and passing through my sand filter. It’s a little tough to disassemble and clean the filter compared to the filter that originally came with the pool robot. Pictures show a cleaned filter panel vs uncleared. Also pretty east to clean using light jet pressure and hosing off both sides.

I bought a Dolphin Liberty 200 battery operated cleaner last fall. I ran it many times with the standard filter basket, and it worked great. I had read reviews that the filter that comes with the unit was NOT an ultra-fine filter and would not pick up the fine dust. Found this to be true, so when I found this ultra-fine filter that was a fit for my Liberty 200, I bought it. It does the job that I need. Picks up the fine dirt from the bottom of the pool. I am very happy with this product.

This is much better that the filter it comes with. The filter it comes with lets too many small particulates back into the water like algae. This does a better job with the smaller particulates.

I use my Dolphin in-ground pool vacuum 2 to 3 times a week and purchased the Dolphin ultra-fine filter basket when I purchased the vacuum. As I have constant battle with sediment in the pool due to all the dust in the air, the ultra-fine filter is the only way to remove.The 9991460-R1 Ultra-Fine Filter Basket is a prefect fit for my vacuum and is a drop-in item.In comparing the Dolphin filter to the one I just obtained, there is little difference. Both filters appear to have the same filter fabric and perform the same (if there is any difference, it's not noticeable). The only real difference I can see is the Dolphin brand has more filter material, as the pleats are much tighter, which mean more filtering area. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as theoretically with less material it should allow better suction, but as I mentioned, I couldn't detect any difference in performance.Both filters are reusable by washing them out, although I haven't used the new one very long to attest to its lifespan.I deducted one star simply due to the OEM having more filter material.
