Defective product. Absolutely impossible to get it to focus on anything, near or far. It zooms in and out no problem, but the focus does not adjust even the slightest bit, it just remains the same consistent blurry blob. There was a missing bolt. The instructions mention to assemble pieces that already came assembled. Nothing about this product was worth any money I spent on it.

I've never used a Telescope and considering this Telescope is for kids. I would think the directions would be more clear. They are not

This was the perfect setup during the July Perseid meters announced by NASA. It can take a long time between the meteors and having this at the side helped see other planets and moon to lessen the wait experience. It did a great job visualizing the moon surface

I recently purchased the Mijiaowatch Telescope for my kids, and it has been an absolute hit! This telescope is perfect for beginners of all ages. The 360/50mm lens provides a clear and detailed view of the night sky, making it easy to spot stars, planets, and even the moon’s craters. The 90X zoom is impressive, bringing distant celestial objects into sharp focus.Setting up the telescope was a breeze, thanks to the included tripod and straightforward instructions. It’s lightweight and portable, making it ideal for spontaneous stargazing trips. My kids were able to handle it easily and were thrilled with the HD clarity. What I love most about this telescope is how it fosters a love for astronomy in young minds. It’s educational and fun, encouraging kids to explore and learn about the universe. This telescope is not only a great tool for kids but also enjoyable for adults and beginners looking to delve into stargazing.Overall, the Mijiaowatch Telescope is a fantastic investment for any budding astronomer. It’s user-friendly, portable, and offers excellent optical performance. Highly recommended!

This is nothing fancy, more of a toy really, but a great beginner's scope for getting a child interested in astronomy. It comes with a lot more than most beginner telescope including multiple lenses, and a tripod, to make any child feel like he's got something as good as the experts. Heck, my first telescope didn't even come with a tripod and was almost impossible to use, but year's later, I'm an amateur astronomer with a top of the line scope and dozens of books on astronomy. I'll it takes is a child's first one to ignite their imagination and passion for our heavenly skys!

As a photographer, I don't do much astrophotography besides taking few photos of the moon, the Milkyway, and the last solar eclipse. However, I've always been fascinated by space, but I've never owned a telescope. Knowing that this is not a professional grade telescope, I decided to give it a try and also have fun with it with my kids. From my trials with it over few uses, I confirm that his telescope is for beginners and kids, and I don't mean it in a bad way. If you just want a magnified image of the moon this will do the job. Don't expect to see the rings of Saturn with it though. What makes it a good option for beginners and kids is that it's easy to set up. The instructions are clear and simple, and I had it assembled in just a few minutes. The tripod is sturdy and adjustable, so I can get the perfect viewing angle, whether I'm sitting or standing. The telescope itself is surprisingly powerful for its size. The 70mm aperture and 400mm focal length provide decent images. I wasn't blown away by the detail, but I was able to see the craters on the moon, which my kids were fascinated with! The look on their faces was worth a million. There is no software that is included, but there are abundant phone apps that will guide you to where to point the telescope. The telescope comes with two eyepieces and a Barlow lens. I like the phone adapter and my kids were able to take pictures and videos to show to their friends.Overall, I'm incredibly impressed with the fun that this telescope was able to bring to my kids. It's well-made, easy to use, and provides nice views of the night sky and explore the wonders of the universe. It's also a great gift for kids and adults alike.

I bought this Telescope for my kids, and it has been a delightful purchase. Setting it up was surprisingly easy, and within minutes, we were gazing at the moon! The 50mm aperture and 90X zoom provide a clear and sharp view, which amazed not only the kids but also us adults. What I love most is how lightweight and portable it is. The tripod is sturdy enough for basic use, and the telescope itself feels well-built for the price. It’s perfect for beginners, and the kids are now hooked on astronomy. Watching their excitement as they discover the stars has been priceless. Highly recommend this for families or anyone curious about space!

I remember when I was a kid going to an astronomy local conference, where they had people explain how to polish your mirror... That kinda made me gave up that hobby :) Now you have more expensive available telescope, but I'm not going to be super happy with them neither... But at 100$, this kit did serve to get myself the taste of it on the cheap ! You get everything you need to get you started. I wish the storage solution was a bit better with more identification of the different parts, but there is manual that tell you how to assemble it.So don't expect too much from it, but if you don't get the desire to get a bigger one after that, then you have saved a tons of money ! I know for me, this will make me happy for a long while !

Updated Review (04/08/2023): The first kit I received was missing several parts. The replacement box has everything shown in the product advertisement and I was able to test completely. The main tube of the telescope is very well built and the quality of the 50mm Objective lens is okay with a focal length of 360mm. The focus wheel assembly is nice and rigid which helps the stability of the telescope when viewing and accidentally bumping the scope will not take it out of focus. Also included is the angle prism for astronomy observations. If however you would like to use the telescope as a terrestrial scope, the kit includes an erecting eyepiece which will replace the angle prism at the end of the telescope. I was not able to see well since the internal body of the main tube reflects a lot of light when using it during the day. During the night viewing, the tube is dark enough to watch the moon. There are two eyepieces included and maximum magnification that can be achieved is 90x which is okay for observing the moon. This kit had the moonlight filter and I was able to test it out on the waning moon with fairly good results. Some assembly is required and this kit included the knob attachment to connect the telescope body to the alt-azimuth tripod included in the kit. The small portable aluminum-alloy tripod is stable enough to carry the weight of the assembled scope. So I will update my review of the Mijiaowatch telescope. It is a good learning tool for kids to understand the basics of Astronomy.
