Gauge is accurate. It reads the same as two other gauges at 30 psi.

I am happy with this purchase, works great easy to use, I just wanted simple to use and accurate tyre pressure gauge. This also appears well made.

Great tire pressure gauge beautifully designed. The measuring round gauge is large enough to read the pressure and is well made. The correct reading stays locked in place even after the tube is removed from the the tire valve. It needs to be reset manually for the next reading. Old school design that doesn't require batteries.

For decades, I have used the little silver rod type air gauges that have tiny numbers and are a guess as to accuracy. I broke down and bought this quality air gauge and what a difference. The gauge has a big, glowing, easy to read, and certified accurate face. The connection to attach to the tire is a about 8 inch hose with the nozzle being able to rotate. No matter how awkward the placement of the tire nozzle, this gauge can easily be used. The gauge holds the pressure and gauge reading after each measurement untill you push a small button and release the device back to zero.Throw out that stick gauge and buy this excellent gauge. Your tires cost hundreds of dollars.....spend about $14 on a quality tire gauge to make the tires work as they should.

Excelente medidor. Lo compre por que mi vehículo usa sensores de presión en las llantas y poder checar la presión antes de salir a carretera o verificar estando en la ciudad. Cumple con todas sus funciones, es pequeño y fácil de usar.

I recently had a faulty Volvo TPMS sensor replaced at my local tire shop. They installed an aftermarket el cheapo sensor which I thought would be satisfactory for a 14 year old car. Problem was I couldn't measure the PSI in that tire with my trusted semi-high end analog gauge. Every time I tried to get a measurement, I couldn't get a tight seal between the valve and the relatively shallow chuck- the air just bled out without a reading. I ordered two gauges with the deeper chuck which I determined I needed: A Rhino digital (up to 250 PSI) and this Astro AI (to 60 PSI) @ 1/2 the price. As nice as the Rhino is with the green backlit display, the chuck on the Astro was a perfect fit to all of the valves- OEM as well as the new generic replacement. And, the Astro is more accurate- it measured exactly the 35 (cold) PSI just topped off at my tire shop. The Rhino measured 33.5 on those same 4 tires which is greater than a 4% variance. Yet another example of a higher price not providing a better product. The Astro is a TREMENDOUS value and a terrific product. And I thought all of the other reviewers who pontificated on the virtues of a gauge that provides you with a PSI mid-range which is in line with your vehicle specs were full of crap. Turns out they're correct.

I'll just admit I've been using junk gauges all my life, like those little pencil-style things that are impossible to read. My last one was digital and I thought it was a step up but after being in the trunk for a few years it was completely dead when I needed it. It probably had parasitic draw that killed the battery but there was no way to change batteries, and I wouldn't have wanted to find some obscure button battery that's going to die in another few years, even if it did.Anyway, that's all prelude to say that this gauge is magnificent. Here are all the key points I like:- No batteries!- Very large and easy to read dial, and seems accurate (no way to verify that.)- The tip swivels so you can get the best angle.- Gauge holds its last reading (remember to reset it between tires!)- Has a built-in bleeder for letting a little bit of air out.- Case has rubber anti-shock design so it would probably survive a fall onto concrete.- Dial can be held a foot or so away from the tip, in case of tight angles. The only downside, and this quite minor, is that it more or less requires two hands. I suppose you could take a reading and then use the fact that the dial holds its max reading to look at it later. But, that is the tradeoff you make for having a large and easy to read dial. Also, while the bleeder is very convenient, I would have liked a small Schrader depressor on the end for those times where you really want to let out a lot of air fast.Still, this is a great tool for under $15. Hopefully I will never need another tire gauge, and I'm definitely never going back to a digital piece of junk that costs $10 and dies on you with no notice.

This probably the best tire pressure gauge I've used. It was easy to attach to the tire stem, accurate (checked with a couple other gauges), rugged, and operates entirely without batteries. The hose makes it easier to attach the gauge to the tire stem no matter where the stem happens to be and ensures the fact of the gauge can be oriented so it is easy to read. The gauge is large and clear. This so much better than the gauges I've used that require batteries, usually exotic and expensive batteries, that are always dead by the time you need the gauge again -- Amazon sold its own branded version of such a disaster of a gauge and it was probably the worst thing I've ever bought from Amazon. Anyway, this one is great and highly recommended. The only downside is it is a bit bulky -- it will take up some room if you keep it in the glove compartment. I don't so not a downside for me, and to my thinking the size serves a purpose and improves the functionality of the product.

Gage is accurate and easy to use. Nice rubber bump guard. Minor criticisms: I hade to tighten one connection point (simple fix), and I'm slightly concerned about a couple swivel points at the ends of the rubber hose section. However, it work just fine, I've been using it in a service environment with no issues for two months or so. No regrets with purchase.
