I have duallies on my motorhome. The valve on the inner tire points straight out. My existing gauges had an awkward angle that did not align properly with the valve. The straight end of this gauge aligns perfectly. I also checked gauge accuracy and find this one to fall within one pound of my certified gauge. That close enough for me. This was a good purchase.

Makes checking my F350's tire pressure absolutely effortless. Seems very accurate. Works very well on dual rear wheels.

Its a gauge... and it has a button to hold the pressure until you release it. Makes it easier to read the number. The end doesn't fit into a 16 inch ALCOA dually very well though.

Likes for the TireTek gauge: Price, dial gauge, shorter & more compact, holds the last pressure reading until you release the pressure with button on gauge end (gauges with rod that extend out can be easily bumped and lose actual reading)Dislikes: I really only have one and that being the gauge that I received reads around 10 PSI low when checking pressures.I know this because after receiving my gauge I had need to stop at the tire shop to have them air up a couple tires on my work truck. I asked the tech if he could check all my tires and make sure all my tires were equal on their pressures and commented that I'd checked with my gauge and had quite varying pressures. He asked to see the gauge I used and checked a couple tires with his gauge and mine and said mine was reading about 10 PSI low. It's not that difficult to remember to add 10 PSI to the readings when checking, but I'd prefer that it is on the money from the start (not everyone is going to check their gauge with the tire shops). It easily could have been the one bad gauge out the batch but I'll be looking to return the one I got and get a regular straight gauge.

I bought this for bicycles because of the high pressures. The build quality is excellent and the angled head was perfect for avoiding the spokes of the bicycle tires. The analog gauge is easy to read and not using batteries avoids an unnecessary complication. Mechanically it functioned perfectly and is well-designed and well-built. I have no complaints. My eyes suck. So although the numbers are big enough, them being even bigger wouldn't hurt. The only problem I had was frequently the valve cap threads caught on something inside the gauge head before it completely engaged. This just let air out of the tire and didn't produce a good reading. I had to try typically 3 or 4 times before I could get a good reading, which let a substantial amount of air out. I may get the hang of getting it angled perfectly after a while. I don't consider this a design flaw, considering it's a truck gauge and I'm using it for a bicycle, but it's a problem. I don't know exactly what causes it.Nice job. Good piece of equipment!
