Works great with a circuit splitter to troubleshoot home electrical devices. Provides reliable readings and also shows when there is power present to insure the power is shut off before doing circuit work on outlets or switches.

Hate to only give one star but didn't get a user manual. *Update* seller responded with outstanding customer service and the product works as it should finally found a meter that will help get so many of my electrical issues figured out.

The unit works well and has many great features. I had had it several months now and it it accurate against my other meters. I took a star off because it is almost impossible to see the display in sunlight. Inside the display looks great. I bought it because my current meter does not have the AMP Inrush function. Unfortunately I take that reading outdoors.

Good multimeter, would have been even better with English printed manual. Now I had to visit some website to get it and print it.Convenient with current measurement in the claw. It differs some from the battery chargers current meter, I wonder which one is correct....

Does all the many measurements is advertised as doing. Measurements seem accurate. Overall feels solidly made. Dial feels well made. Wires/probes well made with some good end/tip protection. Clamp/jaws feel solidly made. Display is easy to read, with a nice backlight that can be turned on/off. Case/bag well made and fits well.

Overall I've been very pleased. I love the light and the backlit display. The ammeter clamp is very nice, works with both AC and DC. Build quality is pretty good. The only thing that could be better is the leads. The cables are quite stiff, with kinks where the cables were folded when originally packed at the factory. Comparing this to my fluke leads, which are like limp spaghetti, never kinking. The fluke leads also have replaceable ends: either probes or clips. One plus to these Astro leads: they do have a removable shield on the probe so that you can keep the conductive area of the probe to a very small area and reduce the chance of shorting something. That's a nice touch. I just wish they had used a better quality flexible wire.Unfortunately the hole sizes on the AstroAI meter aren't a very good fit for the fluke probes. I can make them work, but the probe connectors are slightly too large for the holes, so I have to force them in.

Been using it for few months now and it works just fine. Accuracy is very close to correct, as long as you are not trying to measure very low amps. Satisfied with this purchase.

I'm an 15+ years experience automation technician. I bought this for home use because my Fluke T5-600V needs replacement. I'm giving 5 stars because for the price you have a LOT of extra function that are hard to get on other meters (and become overpriced on FLuke's) and so far have found no real fault to it. It is not flimsy nor feel cheap. I've already used the inrush function on ac motor and Dc (12v battery) and it seems to work great. Only been able to compare the AC clamp and it matches what my VFD put out. My work Fluke was actual a little off compared.Only function that didn't work like I thought was the Frequency function. On a VFD, it gives the pulsing frequency of the bus, not the frequency that the motor "feels". On a regular sine wave it gives the right info. Actually thinking of buying one for work instead of my fluke to see if it holds up.
