Don’t buy this weak shovel. The product description is a lie, I bought this shovel because I liked the compact/telescopic design, also states that it’s “strong and durable”. First scoop of snow the handle snapped off from the shovel. I wouldn’t waste my money on this. I ended up buying a traditional shovel from Home Depot.

I would say this products intended use is to be kept in the vehicle and used for emergency purposesI purchased this product thinking that my children who are shorter, obviously, would be able to use a sturdier shovel than ones you buy at Home Depot or Lowe’s.It is not necessarily easy to use this shovel on the porch or the driveway based on its metal construction. It seems to catch every single nook and cranny. With that being said, I find it extremely durable and compact.I would use this for those individuals with snowmobiles and or ATVs.

Typically these types of shovels are crap but this one is pretty good. Keep it in the car and have had several uses. Made well and collapses fairly easily.

Will eventually need one if you live in the snow belt. Light weight, beefy handle, large shovel head, posi lock snaps, compact.Roughly 17 inches broken down in stow position and 39 inches fully assembled.Of you can get while on sale, don't hesitate as it can be useful if in backcountry sledding, hiking or skiing.

Schade dass wirklich gute Produkte bei Amazon oft in der Menge von mittelmäßigen Angeboten untergehen. Das hier ist ein gutes Beispiel dafür. Für eine zusammenfaltbare Schneeschaufel ist sie auch erstaunlich stabil und dabei gut gestaltet. Überhaupt spürt man, dass sich da Jemand bei der Entwicklung richtig Gedanken gemacht hat. Dazu gibt es einen robusten Sack mit Kordelzug zur Aufbewahrung z.B. im Kofferraum.Natürlich muss man sich darüber im Klaren sein, dass man mit dieser kleineren Schneeschaufel keinen Schnee beiseite schieben kann. Dass ist den klassischen Modellen mit langem Holzgriff und breiterer Schaufel vorbehalten. Aber als kleinere Zweitschaufel und für „immer dabei“ ist sie sehr gut zu gebrauchen.

Looks solid enough, assembles easily, no snow here, so I haven't had to use it yet. The handle comes off for storage in the supplied sack. I think a good feature would have been to supply it in a snap shut poly case, as this way it will wear through the bag eventually, but this is okay.

This of course is the perfect shovel for your car, and the metal is extremely sturdy.I got it though for my patio stairs because it's such a pain to try to shovel narrow stairs with a regular sized shovel. This does it nicely. It's also good if you have skinny sidewalks or spaces in your sidewalk that are awkward to get with a regular sized shovel. The handle can be extended but it's not going to let you stand up and shovel like you would with a regular sized shovel. It's not meant for big shoveling jobs, but is perfect for the small awkward spaces you need to scoop out, or to keep in your trunk for emergencies. The quality is over the top, it's heavy for it's size and very strong metal.

I bought this shovel as a present for my brother who is just getting into snow machining, I was happy that the shovel was aluminum but the handle is plastic, and not a very strong grade of plastic from the looks. It does fold up very neatly though, so that's a plus. It should be a good shovel, but living in Alaska the temperature gets to quite cold so I'm just worried it might not hold up, only time will tell I guess.

With the winter here in Quebec coming very fast and now living in an appartment I am preparing myself to have to dig out my car. I purchased this to fit in the car trunk and not take up too much room. I love that it folds down and can be extended if need be. It is easy to fold and unfold, it takes a faint push of the buttons for them to fold/unfold which is great when you don't want to fiddle too much with it in -40 degree weather. It is incredibly well made and sturdy and the shovel itself if strong. I have yet to use it with snow, I will probably update this review onxe our first blizzard hits (knowing us it will be anytime now).
