This is a quality made machine does the job. I've used it several times now for medium sized snowfall...and it outperforms even 2 stage snow blowers! It actually throws the snow, as advertised, approx 17-20 out in front of the shovel. And, the long battery life permits me to clear not only an oversized 3 car garage driveway but also all my walkways surrounding my home before the charge runs out. And, it quickly recharges in approx one hour. My neighbors are amazed at the performance of this small snow shovel. SO AM I!! Excellent value for the money!!

Item operated as advertised EXCEPT that it would stall at anything over 3" of snow. Even soft, moveable snow. It would be great for snow dustings but honestly heavier and more work than a shovel would be to just push the snow away. Disappointed and returned it anyhow, but hopeful someone has the perfect application for this to work for them.

We are retired and were looking for something simple and low maintenance. We've been the gas-powered snow blower route before. This is affordable and easy to start and operate. I bought an extra battery in case we needed more time. It operates just as advertized and does a very good job.

Used this for the snow and works great, only reason I gave it a four is if you are 6'4" the handle is short

Finally got our first snowfall. I’m 65 … wouldn’t blow out much snow at all, hard to push. I gave up and got the shovel.

This is definitely a great idea for older people especially.I'm 5ft tall,73 yes old and 2 replaced knees but can carry and use with no problems. Not for use in heavy snow areas but then neither am I. LolGood value for money.Easily to fold and store.I'm glad to still be able to do some chores!

This battery powered snow shovel was easy to put together and started up right away, there were no problems with using it at all. I used this item once so far. It worked very well on about five inches of snow. I was pleasantly surprisedBy how far the snow was thrown. As mentioned by the manufacturer it does not work on ice or hail. The only problem I had was not being able to swivel the direction of the discharge chute, this is a disadvantage but for the price I am still happy with my purchase.

This thing works surprisingly well. It scrapes close to the ground, and throws the snow far. However, I have a couple small complaints. One is that there is no way to really direct the snow being tossed, and it kind of gets all over what you've already shoveled. The instructions say to angle it to one side to help with that, which is a little inconvenient. Also, I wish you didn't have to hold the trigger down the whole time to keep it running.. I have tight musculature in my hands, and my palm got tired and cramped very quickly..I had to keep switching it back and forth from hand to hand to help with that. On the flip side, it saved my back from having to lift and throw snow. I have a bad back that is always sore after shoveling, and it's actually fine this time. I got my large driveway and 2 adjacent sidewalks done in half the time it took me to manually shovel a couple weeks ago. The battery was on its last 1/3 when I was done. It was not "dead" yet, and I'd been using it for an hour. This was only used on a couple inches of snow (both fluffy and wet/packed), so I can't speak to how it does with larger snowfalls. Overall, I sure like it better than manual shoveling.
