Bought this for a really good friend of mine - he loves this knife! Super sharp, perfectly balanced, and my friend is a bit of a chef in the kitchen so from him to rant about this chefs knife makes me feel like I made the right decision to gift him this!

It's comfortable in hand. But I'm guessing the steel isn't as hard as some other knives I've used, as it needs sharpening more often. Still a perfectly serviceable knife, it just doesn't hold an edge as well as some other knives.

I just gave away my old set of expensive kitchen knives. I'm an avid cook and for the past 2 years, this knife has served me daily for all kitchen tasks. It sharpens to an excellent edge and has a comfortable weight, grip, and balance.I find that it keeps its edge well, but then I sharpen my knifes frequently and wouldn't dream of running them through the dishwasher.
