Great item's. The hospital used these on me so had to get them. Only use once as they flattened slightly and wond work as they should.

These work great to apply pressure to a nosebleed while you lean forward so you can still have two free hands available to continue what you were doing for the 10 minutes you're supposed to hold a nosebleed in place. Contrary to popular belief, you shouldn't stick a compress inside your nose for a regular nosebleed. Pinch the nose, lean forward, and hold for 10 minutes. Check, and if it's still bleeding, hold for another 10.10 minutes can be a long time when you're pinching your nose with your fingers and these do a better job of holding steady compression in place without you needing to stop what you were doing. Thankfully we've never needed to do the follow up 10 minute hold, but I now keep at least two of these in my bag, and they're all over my house. As the temps have gotten pretty high and dry, I've even given one to a kid at the playground who suddenly had a bloody nose and his parents were trying to stop it with tissue. They can get messy and the foam can get some blood on it, but I've found that we can easily wash out the blood right afterwards with soap and water. Let it dry and it's as good as new.I have a little nosebleed kit that my kid carries with one of these and a small bottle of children's Afrin (suggested by his doctor for nosebleeds that don't stop within 10 minutes) - it's great to never feel like we'll be caught off guard by a nosebleed again.

Looks exactly like the pics. They don't pinch too hard and the foam is very soft, so they are comfortable. Great if you get frequent nosebleeds. They can be washed and reused. Good value.
