They work great. I have a older Hero 5 Black Gopro. As it said in the directions you have to do an update on the older Gopro's in order to get them to accept the newer battery.FYI: Youtube has several videos showing the process for the update if you need to do it

I bought these for my GoPro 7. The battery charger is smaller than I expected but it doesn't matter. The battery life of the batteries is worse than the normal GoPro 7 batteries while recording 2.7k which is why I only gave it four stars, after about 30 mins of 2.7k recording at 60fps I was at 27% on that battery. Although that isnt great it should do for snowboarding and skiing. I like how I can charge all three batteries at once as well. I have the dropped the charger on the floor with the batteries, and the build quality must be good, because when I dropped the batteries they were all completely fine. I'm not honestly sure how well they do in the cold while charging. There is a battery life indicator light in the front of each battery while charging, red if not charged, green if charged. One thing I don't love about the design is that I can't charge my GoPro 7 battery in the case. The case can only charge the batteries that come with it it seems. This battery charge and the batteries are just good for the price, and they are really easy to use and swap, the batteries are very securely in the charger whilst charging. Overall really good.

This is a great solution to have multiple batteries in a convenient carrying case/ charger. I found as others have mentioned ,that the charger doesn’t fully charge the batteries as a name brand GoPro charger. The batteries do energize my GoPro, but I do not have sufficient data to support a claim of performance compared to GoPro originals. I am happy with this purchase as it is a cheaper alternative to the GoPro originals.

Batteries always make GoPro glitch out and not record so you end up with many 5-10 second videos and then it automatically turns off. Also it corrupts lots of videos on the SD card, spend a couple extra bucks and buy the real GoPro battery replacements.

I got these for a trip to Hawaii to document my trip. The battery life, lasted 30 minutes longer than the GoPro batteries that my camera came with which is pretty amazing. One thing I noticed is that they take a while to charge with the case, but then again there are three charging at once. I was mostly charging them at night so when I woke up in the morning they were always on a full charge. The GroPro read the battery level like the GoPro brand batteries and the charging case was able to read the battery level of the GoPro batteries, so the products work parallel which is a plus.Overall I totally recommend these, they are affordable easy, and compatible!

One of the common disappointments of a new GoPro kit (at least the Hero8 that I have) is you can only charge a battery while it's within the camera and the camera is tethered to USB, meaning you can't really charge the backup battery while the camera is in use. Because of this I have found myself only being able to use my GoPro until the 2 batteries were exhausted and then the camera was effectively done for the day. I searched many alternatives and thankfully I found this one, giving me the ability to charge 3 backup batteries at once while my camera is concurrently in use. This was very beneficial on a recent trip to Hawaii where I can now cycle through 5 batteries (2 original plus these 3) and by the time I'm using the 5th battery the first is recharged in this gem (when I have access to USB power with an adapter in the car or I'm carrying a portable USB battery). In addition, this little box is a great carry companion to keep 3 batteries clean, safe, and organized, thereby completely eliminating the worry about a loose battery getting dirty, lost, etc. The only thing I can think that would make this charging box better is if it had a little on-demand indicator (powered by the batteries) to remind me which batteries are full and which are discharged and/or also to have a little charge level meter (at least in one slot) instead of just a green/red LED indicating fully charged versus anything less than full. As for the batteries, unfortunately it seems these 1500mAh (5.80Wh) batteries don't run the camera any longer than the GoPro original 1220mAh (4.70Wh) batteries but I haven't done a side-by-side test so this may be a false perception. Regardless of this perception I'm already a big fan of this kit and found it is small enough to store together with my GoPro inside the "Amazon Basics Small Carrying Case for GoPro" I bought a year ago. I consider this battery storage/charger not only a good value purchase, it is now a highly valued accessory and I just bought a second one to give as a gift to a family member.

There are a lot of things I like about this product. So lets list them off shall we? But first, my one complaint, I want to get out of the way to help explain something later.Battery indicator:As described, the device turns a red light on to indicate it is charging. Once it is charged, the light changes to green. Twice now the official Gopro battery I have has been "charged" with a green light indicator, but when I go to use the battery, it is not at 100%. I have a hard time believing that the battery has degraded enough to let 3-4% go in a couple hours off of the charger. The Artman batteries have been just fine however.Battery Life:I ran a comparison on both the Artman and Gopro to see which would last longer. Started off a video of 4K 60fps and let them run until it died. Now as stated before, the Gopro battery was not at 100% when it started but I did the math to figure out how much it SHOULD have recorded.Gopro: Starting Battery %: 94% Ending battery %: 2% (somehow didn't die completely?) Time recorded:59 minArtman: Starting Battery %: 100% Ending battery %: 0% Time recorded: 63 minTheoretically, the Gopro at that rate, should be able to go from 100%-0% and record a max of 64 minutes. To summarize battery life, the offical Gopro battery has 1 more minute of life. Not bad Artman, not bad.Design:This is another area I think this product does well. It is not just a charger, it is also a battery holder. I have already used this a lot and it is so handy to be able to just unplug the charger from the cord, and the top is snapped closed. Nice little square that can be easily placed in my Gopro accessories bag.USB C is real nice to know you don't have the "which side is up" battle.Summary:This product is concise, compact, powerful, and a good deal for the price. Would recommend.Banana for scale.
