Nice to have this official Arlo product to charge my back-up batteries for my Arlo 5s cameras. Comes with AC plug and base station that charges 2 Arlo batteries simultaneously. This should charge the Arlo XL batteries too but check the product description or visit the Arlo site. Rather than take down my cameras when their battery dies, I bought this and back-up batteries to have on deck so that there is no disruption in surveillance. So far no issues and this station is charging my batteries as advertised. I have not taken note of the charging time but again it is charging my batteries to a full charge and the indicator lights for both docks is working correctly. This dock makes things easier - instead of taking the entire camera off the mounting bracket and having to readjust the camera when it’s ready to go back on after charging, all you would do is hit the eject button on the front of the cam to pop the cam and compartment out. Switch the battery, pop it back in, and done in 2 mins without a long delay in surveillance.

It is so nice to be able to charge two batteries at once. It is easy to use and gets the batteries charged faster and more efficient.

Works great if you have extra batteries, just charge and use

The batteries on my Arlo cameras are difficult to recharge in place, as I don't have electric fixtures near where the cameras are mounted. So I purchased extra batteries that I can charge indoors and swap with the outside batteries when they run down. The Arlo charger handles up to 2 batteries at a time and works simply.

I would always advise OEM accessories for products. This is no difference. That being said, you get the dependability of OEM support, but at a price. Still, overall this product works well and does charge the batteries differently. I used to charge my XL batteries on the camera, but I noticed that longevity was lacking. I would love to use this product but it arrives with a 2 pin plug which is not suitable for the U.K. Into the travel drawers to find the travel plug adapter I go.

Ordered in UK came with what looksLike a us plug, no adapter. Pretty basic thing to get right. Now have to go through hassle of returning it.
