The paper is a good weight. I’ve experimented with colored pencils and metallic watercolors, and the brighter colors pop off the page.

Great black paper... Hands down, nice and thick, but not poster board. I use pencil and metallic markers on this, and it comes out great!!

Acrylic paint pens really pop on this paper! Pastels and chalks work quite well, too.
