Honestly the best sketchbook for wet media. Super thick, smooth paper that is incredibly absorbent. I had zero issues with bleed through our crazy warping. Worked really well with gouache, water color, acrylic paint, alcohol and paint markers. You can easily remove a page because of it's perforated edge.

It came with a thing to put between the pages to prevent staining through to the next page, possibly not needed but I love that they included it.

I absolutely love this sketchbook. The pages are nice and thick, the perforation is solid, and the cover is a great quality. Its exactly what I was looking for. Well worth the money!

I just received this journal. So far I like the hard cover, and the paper. I used my winsor &Newton paints on the paper and it works well. The papers lay flat which is goid while your working in it also. I recommend this journal.

Very nice paper for mixed media and there are lots of pages! Have not tried water colour with it but guoache works very well. It's pretty smooth but will take coloured pencil layers and that's all I really want from it. Also appreciate that although pages are perforated they do not easily detach so I can still do a piece across 2 pages. The book has a solid hard cover and comes shipped in its own box..a great way to ensure it arrives undamaged. Really am loving this book so far.Would order again

I’ve gone through several sketchbooks over the years. Notable brands such as Illo, Canon, Arteza and the like but none of them have treated me like Ohuhu does. The Mixed Media is truly mixed media! I use alcohol markers, gouache, watercolor, ink, highlighters and pencil in this thing and it takes it like a champ. The cover is durable and wonderful to put stickers on. The back pocket is a helpful place to put loose papers and color swatches. The sheet protector that it comes with is perfectly sized for the sketchbook and comes in handy when you use the Ohuhu alcohol markers! Will be buying these for the foreseeable future!

This was the sketchbook that made me fall in love with the concept of sketchbook itself!! I tried some before, but they were like yeah, okay, meh. You had to work around the shortcomings. Having this made me realize what were the possibilities, what kind of a paper I liked for texture and gsm, the thickness of the book, the beautiful hardbound textured cover, the elastic band to keep it together, the big size, consistent paper quality throughout and much more! Colours pop on the pages and it can take a good amount and roughing up too whether it's paint layers or erasing. If it's true artist freedom, I experienced it with this as I just had to intuitively pick up a medium and not strategize before or worry that the pages wouldn't take it. While there's minimal buckling I don't mind it AT ALL, in fact, I like it, gives my sketchbook some character. I personally don't care much for the bookmark or the back pocket or the perforated lines but they're good features to have. Never had to use the silicone sheet for bleedthroughs. I've used watercolor, gouache, color pencils, inktense blocks, acrylics, oil pastels, soft pastels, pens etc. and the paper was never iffy. I could use both sides of the sketchbook every single time! I was so impressed that I got the square size too. In 2023 for some reason this size has not been available, which is beyond me, but I hope these come into stock soon as I won't be purchasing any others. Highly highly recommend this one!! 👌🏽 💖
