This item is as expected. The needles seem to be in good shape and the eyes of the needles are intact. They are somewhat thicker than expected but good for large projects with thicker materials, such as upholstery or items with an unusual shape. Would be good if they offered multiple lengths and gauges of needle in this pack.

Needles well made. Just wish there were multiple sizes.

Enough upholstery needles to keep you going for a long time! I found them to be a bit heavy and would have liked a few in a thinner gauge for finer fabric, but otherwise they work fine. Hard for the uninitiated to use at first but as with everything practice, practice, practice.

Not sure I needed a pack of 50 of these now that I have them, mainly because I think I'll only need one due to the quality of these and not using these very often. I was able to use nano Paracord and sew a patch on a sweatshirt. Overall, good quality needles.

These needles are sturdy and should be useful for anyone needing to sew upholstery or do leather repairs.

I'm getting back into quilting and I like these for making quick tied quilts! Boy, they make the task a lot easier and faster. Nice and sharp, EXCELLENT price point for the amount of needles in the pack!

These are decent lightweight curved upholstery needles but the eye is too lightweight for leather. Even if you punch holes in the leather the eyes broke either inserting thread appropriate for all but the most lightweight glove leather, so forget about anything heavier. If you are sewing gloves you will be using gloviers needles anyway so these effectively will not work for leather. The manufacturer is trying to make a decent upholstery needle into thing it cannot do in order to get more views. It is a pity because these will work great for upholstery and similar type materials. The tips are just sharp enough, with a perfectly tapered tip, to pierce and move the fabric apart rather than splitting the warp or weft threads....which is exactly what you want for best sewing and least damage to the sewn material. So if these were just labeled and sold as lightweight curved upholstery they would be 5 stars. As is they are mediocre at anything else but sewing upholstery items. So excellent upholstery needles but not appropriate for leather or mid to heavyweight anything else.

I tried the needle on various materials. It did not bend. I had to take a pliers to get it to bend. So it is good and sturdy. The eye is big enough for my hemp to thread through. This can be used for everything from sewing leather to silk and every where between.
