Both pieces seem well constructed. Melted wax in the pot and it worked as expected and was easy to pour. Clean up was just as easy.

Some may find it small but I think it's compact and useful so long as you don't do large batches. A gift for a friend. Think it'll be great.

OH I like this double boiler! I don't make sweets very often, but it will be perfect for making chocolate or other sweets where you need to keep it off direct heat. I mainly use it to infuse oils -- its been great for that.

I've always used a make shift double boiler. I decided it was time to purchase one. Very happy with the quality & size of the set. The price was awesome too. It's a good size for the recipes I'll use it for. I'm ready to make the 7 minute icing from my childhood now.

This is a nice looking and functional stainless steel double boiler set.I like that the top pot has a single handle and the bottom pot has a double handle so you can move it around on the stove or induction cooker as needed.The chocolate we melted did so evenly and we were able to mix it in nicely with the metal spoon that's included as well as emptying the top pot using the silicone spatula.The pots are easy to clean in the kitchen sink as well as in the dishwasher.We will use these boilers anytime we make any specialty chocolates for our friends or family.We like this boiler set.
