My older car doesn't have bluetooth capabilities. Exactly what I was looking for!

I thought it was going to sound terrible but works great on my phone & high resolution music player. 2004 Camry with factory speakers. It has been 2 weeks & I don't regret the purchase

Works fine. Sound quality is alright but there’s some weirdness in my speakers that doesn’t happen when I use the radio. Not sure if it’s the item or my car. My car is old enough to need a cassette player aux cord so it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s old enough to have speaker issues too.

The CD player in our older van died just before a trip. No wireless connections, so the cassette player was the obvious next choice. Could not find the cassette adapter we used for our XM radio years ago, so we tried this adapter. There are some wireless adapters on Amazon, but I did not want to overcomplicate things. Very quick shipping from Amazon - as usual - and the adapter works. Our van is pretty noisy, so I can't comment on the audio quality, but sounds fine to me playing from both my iPhone and Samsung tablet. Others have suggested cleaning the cassette player heads. I have not needed to do that yet, but i do have some long swabs (also from Amazon, of course) for cleaning VCR heads that should work great (with a bit of rubbing alcohol). So we listened to classic rock on a 900 mile road trip, with just one more wire dangling from the dash.

Bought a used 1999 Toyota 4Runner and wanted to keep everything stock, meaning no Bluetooth or AUX, so when I saw this I immediately ordered it. If you have an iPhone 7 and newer you need a headphone jack adapter, they’re not as expensive as they used to be and also work very well. It was so easy to install because you use it as an AUX cord and sounds great in the car. It’s not static-y, but you may heard a faint buzzing sound but it’s just the cassette spinning. You cannot hear it while driving because the road noise…it’s that faint. It’s held up just fine and if you’re on the fence about it, just try it you’ll be surprised by how well it works.

It works great but I broke the first one I bought. The end of the cord snapped off. Bought another one and broke it the same way. What happened was I would end up sitting on the cord and once I pulled it out the end snapped off

in using this product I found that I had to have my phone's volume at around half and would need to blast my car speakers to compensate. if my phone volume crossed the halfway mark, I would experience a lot of weird sound affecting issues such as a removal of the bottom/bass end of the sound

Works good, a little noisy, not as good as the one I bought at sam goody 20 years ago which the cable got eaten by the tape deck by accident. Important note: it needs to be inserted with the graphics facing up. If your tape deck is backwards like mine the aux tape has a slot that you can route the cable in so it doesn't get caught in the deck.

I've been using this for months without any issues.Quality seems good.Audio quality is excellent.Make sure to not have your volume on the device you have the jack plugged into maxed out. Something like 80% is fine. Then adjust the volume using the car's system.

I’ve been using car audio cassettes for 40 years. I found one I bought probably 20 years ago unopened. I have a 1997 vehicle that I boughtNew. It still runs perfectly fine. It has a cassette player in it and I’ve been using cassette adapters for many years. I decided to open the 20 year old one and use it because the one that I was using is about 7 years old. Still works but I thought I’d give it a break. So before putting in the 20 year old one, I ran the head cleaning tape in to freshen up the stock deck. I do that periodically. So I put the 20 year old one in and it works flawlessly. Excellent sound quality, no clicking sounds etc.Because the 20 year old on was the last NEW one I had, I decided to buy another one to have on hand. So after quite a bit of research, I decided on the Arsvita car audio cassette. Not the Bluetooth version just one with an aux cord.It arrived 3/12. So I decided to see if by chance over the years technology may have improved, I brought it out to the car and put it in. All it did was self eject. Over and over again. So I went in and “YouTubed” it and found several solutions that seemed logical. Over 40 years I never had to do anything like this but I guess technology has changed, for the worst in this case. I tried everything I could find on YouTube, I took it apart took out the “reverse” wheel, that didn’t work. I took it back apart to more options I learned on YouTube. NOTHING but NOTHING would work. I finally just to it and threw it in the garbage. Save yourself all the headaches, never buy Arsvita products.
