Had an old version which went wrong after 20 odd years. Hope this one lasts as long, should do it is just as well built as the old one.

The body of the stapler is actually for the .5 inch staple but on the inside is a delivery device for a slightly smaller stable than the half inch why they did away if they have been stable is beyond me don't care for so far but maybe to it.

Replaced the same item that had given 30 plus years of service! And that was only because I lost a part.

I bought this because it was "designed" to be easier to use.I found it just as hard to squeeze as it's predecessor, the Arrow T50.It behaves well otherwise but was definitely not easy and I had touse 2 hands. I have now purchased the Arrow Powershot which ISeasier to squeeze and better designed ergonomically.

I am installing ProVents (rafter vents) in my attic, so I am on my stomach, arm fully extended, trying to staple something with my fingertips....and it wasn't working. I already have an old Arrow T50M stapler, and it works great, but takes a tremendous amount of squeeze to get it to staple. Very hard with just fingertips and not your whole hand behind it. I saw this was "easy squeeze" and jumped on it. I was very disappointed when I got it. 1) The words "Easy Squeeze" do not appear anywhere on the product packaging, 2) It takes just as much effort to squeeze as my old work stapler. Nothing easy at all. I was looking for some sort of "power assist", but it doesn't have anything like that, 3) Since I was mostly using it upside down, the little loop of wire (for hanging it up) kept falling down, getting in my way, and blocking it from stapling. If I had kept it, I would have taken that thing off because it was just annoying. I contacted Arrow about this, and they confirmed that the squeeze from it is not any easier than similar staplers. So, I sent it back and am sticking it out with my old one. As I get older and my arthritis gets worse, hopefully, someone will have something truly "easy squeeze" on the market.
