If you have power cables running across the ceiling of your garage or cables running along baseboards in the house, you need this stapler. There is a "notch" in the top of the staple that allows the wiring to run underneath the staple once it's secured. This is awesome if you're trying to staple wires/cables against a flat surface.

Found this in a Big Box at first then bought another one here. Used it this year and right away bought another to make sure I had a spare just in case they stopped making these. Wife loved the concept as well, she was always nervous when I would just use a standard stapple gun on Christmas lights.

So purchased a while ago but didn’t use till now. I tried my hand using sticky style clips or hooks. But they never worked well some would hold but lots would eventually come off. The Light Tacker staple gun with the plastic insulators works perfectly for the job. You will definitely need to order additional insulators with staples. But worth the money for peace of mind and time. Only thing they may want to upgrade is the insulators have to be installed 1 at a time of use instead feed into it like staples. But not a deal breaker. Had no issues of jamming installed quite a few of string lights on and around my garage and porch. Didn’t give 5stars one because lack of feed of insulators and always room for company to make even better.

The overall weight of the Surebonder light tacker staple gun is ideal for over head installation of christmas lights. I think the spring mechanism low performance caused the staples to jam or miss fire and no staples were ejected. I followed the directions to several times to unjam missed fired staples. I gave up using the product after it took me some time to tack up 20 foot strip of Christmas lights.

I paid about $15 for this staple gun... It feels like its made of plastic with metal parts inside and the power is a bit lacking.. I used it for running Ethernet cables along the crown moulding in my gaming room between the router and my PC's. I would recommend it simply due to the price and the fact that it works..but be prepared for some frustration as you have to redo every 3rd staple due to lack of power pushing them in.

Last year I tried to use 3M sticky hooks and wouldn't say I liked it. The hooks constantly failed and I had to reply hoping I wouldn't have to use more adhesive. This year I looked into putting up lights with a staple gun, but I didn't want to ruin the lights by stapling through the wires. So I looked up this product and after one application, I'm all in on this product.What used to take me a lot longer, was very quick. All you have to do is put your plastic piece at the end of the stapler and firmly place your stapler against the wood (my use case) and bam, it's up snugly. I had only a few staples fail, but it was not an issue. I LOVE this product. Would recommend it.

At first staples were jamming, but I was able tweak it a bit. Nice product, but not strong enough to use for stalling to particle board
