I used it on some 1/8” steel rivets and it worked well. I would not be able to “pop” 3/16” steel ones as my grip is not that strong any longer. My Swingline lasted 40 years. All I need from these is 20 years. 4 stars because only time can earn that last star. Made offshore. No surprise. Only new model I could find that swiveled the head so can’t get too fussy. It works.

The product works. I wanted a nice used old Craftsman set, but I was short on time and got these.The very first rivet I did with them, the tail got caught inside so be SURE you know how to take them apart. Overall they did the job, but if it's for more than one, I'd advise a better set.

I bought this tool to re-install rivets into lawn tractor idler pulleys after replacing the bearings. Getting the version with the adjustable heads for different sized rivets, I thought it'd be more well rounded for other uses down the road as well.The tool overall looks to be of good quality and was working fine at the start, but the area where the rivet die/boss screws into the tool (to be able to adjust it for different sized rivets) stripped out after installing 8 rivets. It will not hold the die/boss into the tool head anymore and renders the tool useless.Installing the rivets was also awkward to operate the tool in the 90* head orientation. It's too large to operate with one hand, and operating it with two hands requires you to move awkwardly so the rivet stays aligned in the part and the tool. I believe this is due to only one of the tool's arms being movable vs. some other brands where both arms move in relation to the tool's head.Since my return window closed on Amazon, I will now need to take this up with the manufacturer, Arrow. Looking briefly on their website, they do have a limited lifetime warranty on this product and I'm hoping this will be settled easily.

The product worked very well...just as expected. It is fairly lightweight yet has a sturdy feel. My only recommendation would be to include rivets in a broader variety of sizes with the tool.

If you like binding metal sheets together (metal projects) then this must be in your tool cabinet. I even used it to fasten hangers in my travel trailer and the internal walls are thin and works. Buy it and when you have a metal project then this is a must to have - and it turns or pivots for tight areas... perfect!
